The Pebble Time Steel Watch is the second Kickstarter project that I backed from Pebble, the first time was two years back for the Pebble Watch.
The Pebble Time Kickstarter project broke Kickstarter record for the most funded project. It raised US$20,338,986 from 78,471 backers and the project was officially funded on 28th March 2015.
Bought the Amazon Fire TV Stick for US$39 (S$54) just to try it out since I already decided on buying the Amazon Echo (next post) and my kitchen’s television needs a media casting device.

I always wanted to get the Sony E 30mm F3.5 Macro Lens (SEL30M35) ever since I bought the Sony NEX-3N from Amazon last year to do some closed-up product shots.

The WeMo Switch + Motion is retailing at Funan’s Challenger for S$109 (member’s price is S$89) while the WeMo Switch is retailing for S$79 (member’s price is S$71.10).
For a member’s price difference of S$18, I can get the additional motion sensor, and hence I chose the WeMo Switch + Motion instead of just the WeMo Switch.
GearBest sent me an iMacwear M7 for me to try. The iMacwear M7 is retailing for US$112.63 (S$155) on GearBest’s website excluding shipping.
The iMacwear M7 is not an Android Wear device but rather an Android Watch itself because it runs on a full Android 4.4 (KitKat).

The much anticipated OnePlus 2 which was announced last Tuesday, 28th July 2015, will be coming to Singapore in Q4 2015 and the local retail price is S$538 for the 64GB variant.
I played with the OnePlus 2 last Friday, 31st July 2015, at the OnePlus 2 media event in Singapore. I love the build of the OnePlus 2, it feels solid and have a premium touch to it. The phone comes with the Sandstone Black back cover which I totally love. If you don’t like it, you can swap it with four other back covers: Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot, Kevlar, which are sold separately.
The D-Link DSP-W215 WiFi Smart Plug as the name suggests is a plug that is connected to your wireless network and that makes it “smart”.
It runs on 802.11n wireless network and is currently retailing for S$69.
