Celebrated my 26th birthday at Chili's in Resorts World yesterday, my second visit after the Tanglin Mall branch. The food's fantastic but pricey; I love the free-flow Tostada chips at S$6.90, though the S$41.90 steak isn't worth it.

I love my Dell 2408WFP monitor for its two DVI ports, letting me connect both my Windows desktop and MacBook Pro. Using a Mac heavily at work, I wanted to replicate that office setup at home.

I verified it on BizFile, paying S$5 to extract details. Facebook Singapore Pte Ltd, registration 201004959C, is a limited private company doing advertising sales at Millenia Tower, 1 Temasek Avenue. Its paid-up capital? A grand total of one Singapore dollar.

Couldn't make this event since it's during office hours, but I'm keen to see how LTE advances mobile networks. With smartphone numbers rising, demand for faster mobile bandwidth grows too, so I hope SingTel and Ericsson trial LTE soon.

I finally have a blogger name card to hand out at events, thanks to Li Xiang. Printed at Tommy Print, S$60 for 200 pieces, steep because of the translucent plastic material, and it took a month to collect.

This was my only hoot from IT Show 2010, the JVC HA-FX66 black stereo headphones, bought from the Headphones Gallery booth on Level 6. Usually S$55, I got them for just S$30, and I'll be using them in my office.
Web Development On Mac
Long a Windows user doing web development for years, I switched to Mac when I started work because my whole engineering team used them. Going with the flow, I found the experience excellent after a short adjustment.

Attended the Nokia N900 blogger preview at Segafredo in Chinasquare Plaza, Telok Ayer Street. The N900 launches in Singapore at the end of March 2010, with no local pricing yet, though elsewhere it's around US$649, roughly S$911.

Along with other bloggers, I was invited by the Singapore Tourism Board to Chingay Parade 2010, themed ImaginEast. For the first time it's held at the F1 Pit Building beside the Singapore Flyer, a fine seaside choice of venue.

Microsoft today unveiled Windows Phone 7 Series at Mobile World Congress 2010. Being a brand-new OS, they dropped the Windows Mobile 7 branding for this name instead. From the first look, it looks pretty impressive.
