DotA Allstars v6.29b Released
DotA Allstars v6.29b has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map for download. Right-click and save target as to grab it, and do check the changelog, as this point release tidies up bugs from the recent 6.29 version.
Change Of Server
Frozened.com now has a server in the Pacific Internet data centre, and I've just moved my site there. Many thanks to Zeus for helping me migrate. A cPanel-to-DirectAdmin conversion error left only one database, luckily the right one.
Morning “Rush”
With a tender proposal due midday, I stayed overnight in the office formatting the reports. It really annoyed me when she asked whether I had nothing on tonight. Formatting a proposal is the most tedious, time-consuming task.
IT Show 2006
IT Show 2006 ran for four days, and I went on three of them. The first was with Li Xiang, when we bought a hidden item for my brother's 17th birthday on 28th March, costing $129.
Blog Reading
Today is all about blog reading. I've been so busy on weekends catching up on what's left undone, so hopping from blog to blog is a luxury. Sadly, reading updated blogs often disappoints.

Straight from WordPress.org: an important security issue was brought to the team's attention, and they've worked diligently to release a new stable version, 2.0.2, addressing it. The release contains several bug fixes and security fixes. Upgrade promptly, everyone.
Botanic Garden
I took my faculty test on Saturday at NTU and saw familiar faces like Karen, Han Jie, Zhi Fan, Seetoh and Lincoln. The test ran about 90 minutes with five questions. Pei Jun had shown me the room before.
My WP Plugins Update Mar 06
It's the first day of March 2006, so as usual I've released updates to seven plugins and created three new ones. Frustrated with my messy install instructions? This update helps: WP-DBManager, WP-Polls and WP-Email now just need uploading whole.
Sony Ericsson K800i Announced
Sony Ericsson has announced the K800i, successor to the K750i. The specs: a 262,144-colour 240x320 TFT screen, 3G with UMTS, a 3.2-megapixel CyberShot camera with Xenon flash, autofocus and 16x digital zoom, plus a second VGA camera and 64MB.
Final Destination 3
I caught Final Destination 3 yesterday at GV Grand and it was quite good, though not linked to the first two parts. The way people die is as gross as before, and poor Li Xiang couldn't sleep afterwards.

I'm looking forward to the next computer exhibition! IT Show 2006 runs from 9th to 12th March 2006, noon to 9pm, on Level 3, Level 4 (Halls 401 to 404) and Level 6 (Halls 601 to 603).

Belated Valentine's Day wishes to all. I was too tired to write the card, so I drafted it at the office. Sorry, dear; I found out you're sending flowers to my office, so no more surprises now!
ATI Radeon X800 Pro
On Friday I went to my cousin's birthday dinner at Marina Square's Yuki Yaki, and the food is so much better than three years ago. It's now self-service with free-flow DIY ice cream, rather than the old plate-by-plate buffet service.
Portfolio
I've been rushing my NTU admission portfolio. On Thursday I hurried to Paradiz Centre to get it wire-bound, withdrew cash at the ATM, took my card but forgot the money, only realising after a cab ride there.

Lucky Draw
Yesterday I went to an OCBC dinner with my mom at Grand Shanghai. The food was rather lousy, but the activities were cool, with sketching, fan painting and trishaw photos. My mom did a fan painting while we queued.
Fearless And I Not Stupid Too
I caught Fearless on the second day of Lunar New Year, and it's easily Jet Li's best film in years. I still think he suits wuxia movies more than modern-day fighting ones. It's also touching towards the end. Highly recommended.
University Enrollment
During Chinese New Year we paid the usual visits to relatives, and the three of us siblings gathered at Mr Yuan's house; it's been a long time since I saw him after his retirement. I've also enrolled at NUS.
WordPress 2.01
WordPress 2.01 was released two days ago, fixing about 114 bugs. You can now specify an upload directory and whether to use date-based storage, caching has been fixed under certain PHP environments, and permalinks now work in odd setups.
