Apple has announced iPhone OS 3.0, arguably the OS the iPhone should have shipped with. Expected features include in-app purchases, peer-to-peer connectivity, custom apps talking directly to hardware, turn-by-turn navigation, push notifications, and finally cut, copy and paste.
I received two Xbox 360 games today from 2K Games, part of Take-Two Interactive, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto, Civilization, BioShock and more. BioShock 2 is due around September 2009 and will grace the cover of a magazine.
I left for the IT Show 2009 at Suntec City with my brother. I parked at Marina Square to dodge the carpark jam, reaching before 11am with time for a McDonald's breakfast, then headed in to hunt for deals.

Bought my Logitech 2.4GHz Cordless Presenter at PK Computer in VivoCity for S$132. I've no idea why presenters cost so much, even unbranded ones run about S$80, but it's a good investment I can also use for school presentations.
Here are the IT fair dates in Singapore for 2009: IT Show in March, PC Show in June, Comex in September and Sitex in November, all held at Suntec City. Handy for planning gadget purchases around the year.
Apple has refreshed the Mac Mini, iMac and Mac Pro. The Mac Mini now packs an Intel Core 2 Duo and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, starting at S$988 for the 2.0GHz, 120GB model, with a 320GB option also available.
My February 2009 site traffic stats: 10,800,627 hits, 650,841 pages and 183,506 visits from 150,368 unique sites, with about 40.6 million KBytes transferred over the month. A solid showing despite February being the shortest month of the year.

Nokia today launched the XpressMusic 5800 and the Comes With Music service at Velvet Underground. Comes With Music is now live, with Singapore the first country in Asia to get it.
BlogOut 2009 runs on 6th and 7th March, 10.30am to 5.30pm, at 8Q, Singapore Art Museum, 8 Queen Street. There are two tracks: the Corporate Track on both days, at S$90, and the Open Track on the 7th.

My first invitation to a Samsung event, courtesy of PR manager Daniel, after previously reviewing the YP-K3 and VP-MX10. The Samsung Touch Event let us get hands-on with a range of Samsung products in a relaxed, try-it-yourself setting.
I was invited to Showcase Nokia 2009 at ZIRCA, Clarke Quay, where Nokia launched the E55, E75, N86 8MP, 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic. The E75 is essentially an E51 clone with an added slide-out full QWERTY keypad.
I ordered my olive green WordPress t-shirt from the WordPress Shop, run by Indigo Clothing. Placed on 6th February 2009, it arrived yesterday, the 14th, by airmail, about twelve days later. It cost GBP £16.50, roughly S$35.80 including postage.
Li Xiang baked butter and cornflake cookies for me, and I made her a card on the computer plus a heart-shaped candy from Sticky. We exchanged gifts yesterday since today we were up early for her friend's ROM.
