Herschel Supply Settlement Backpack (Navy/Mandarin)

I always wanted to get a Herschel Supply‘s backpack but just lack the impulse to do so because I already have lots of bags.

The impulse came when I was shopping around Orchard Road with my secondary school friend who is back in Singapore for a week.

I saw the Herschel Supply Settlement Backpack (Navy/Mandarin) being sold at Bratpack in Bugis Junction last year but I can’t seem to find it anymore at all the shops selling Herschel Supply’s bags in Orchard.

So when I came back home and did more Googling, I realised that the bag was released in Q4 2013.

The bag is also available on Amazon for US$54.99 (S$74) and shipping is an additional US$20.97 (S$28). This brings the total price to US$75.96 (S$102). In Singapore, the price of Herschel Supply’s bag is pretty much controlled, so for the Herschel Supply Settlement Backpack in other colors, the recommended retail price (RRP) is S$109.

With even more Googling, I found the bag being sold at Flight001 Asia online store for S$109. I recognised the brand Flight001, because I remember seeing the store at Mandarin Gallery in Singapore.

Because it is S$109, I hesitated a little and when I visited the page again a few hours later (past midnight), I saw the price dropped to S$54.50. I then realised that they are having a flash sale on 25th January 2015. It also so happen that only that particular bag is discounted for the flash sale for that day.

It was like I am fated to buy the bag because the timing is so coincidence and of course I bought it immediately. Delivery (Ta-Q-Bin) is free because my purchase is above S$40. Bought it on a Sunday, 25th January 2015 and it was delivered it me on Tuesday, 27th January 2015.

There is also an inverse color of my bag called the Herschel Supply Heritage Backpack (Carrot/Navy/Khaki Rubber) which is also retailing for S$109. I saw it being sold at Bratpack in Cineleisure.
