With the COVID-19 pandemic going on, on 3rd April 2020, the Singapore government has announced a Circuit Breaker (CB) to minimize further spread of COVID-19. This will take effect from 7th April 2020 till 4th May 2020 (inclusive).

There will be a closure of workplace premises and only essential services are allowed to be open.

I have been working from home since 18th March 2020 and have been tidying up our work and play setup.

I am happy to share some pictures of our work and play from home setup.

My desktop gaming setup, work setup, and Li Xiang’s work setup are in the computer room.

If you have noticed, I have an iMac 27″ below the table. That is because the display has spoiled (the iMac still works fine). I don’t think it is worth the S$700 in repair fees, so I am using one of the monitors as an external monitor instead.

Game Room
My console gaming setup is in the Game Room. There is nothing much in the room. Sometimes, Li Xiang will use the room as her exercise room.

Living Room
I have a small setup in the living room to do my personal coding projects so that Li Xiang can feel my presence. Also, I can code and eat at the same time as my personal work setup is on the dining table.

I also have a small iPad Pro setup besides my personal work setup. Sometimes I just don’t feel like turning on my MacBook Pro to read the news and surf the Internet. Instead, I will use my iPad Pro.

Power Consumption
Since the start of my Smart Home journey, I have been measuring power consumption for almost every electrical outlet.
