Ethernet Card Problems
Before ordering my Dell monitors, my desktop crashed 15 minutes into a 3D application demo, as it always does with 3D apps. This time, though, after rebooting it could no longer detect my onboard Intel PRO/1000 CT Ethernet card.

I've placed and confirmed my order for a Dell 2408WFP UltraSharp 24-inch monitor for myself at S$958.72 and a Dell E228WFP 22-inch monitor for my brother at S$408.74. Buying both together helped, and I can't wait for them to arrive.

Disney and Pixar have unveiled their full animated line-up from 2008 to 2012 at a New York press conference: a diverse, ambitious slate of 13 new feature films, most of them in 3D, as has been the trend recently.
Nokia Tube
As you may know, Tube is the codename for Nokia's next S60 touchscreen, an iPhone killer running the fifth generation of S60. It has a respectable feature list, starting with a great high-resolution 16:9 touchscreen larger than three inches.
Untraceable
I caught Untraceable at GV VivoCity last week, taking two hours to relax. Reviews were mixed, but personally I loved it, especially the technology references like TTL values and botnets. I hope there's more like it.

Yesterday, 3rd April 2008, Ian Tan from Microsoft invited me to a private Xbox 360 Anniversary party at The Screening Room. Publishers including EA, Atari, LucasArts, THQ, Namco Bandai, Rockstar and Team Ninja were there to demo games.

N-Gage Platform Live
The N-Gage platform is now live, supporting five devices so far per the download page: the N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95 and N95 8GB. I think I'll grab my copy of Block Breaker Deluxe, a game I simply love.
Adobe Photoshop CS4 Supports 64-Bit For Windows Only
Adobe Creative Suite 4 will support 64-bit operating systems on Windows, but remain 32-bit only on Mac; full 64-bit Mac support waits until Creative Suite 5. Adobe says it's giving customers this guidance on Photoshop as early as possible.
McDonalds McGriddles Breakfast
I didn't realise McDonald's has a new breakfast item, McGriddles, essentially a Sausage McMuffin with the muffin swapped for hotcake. The bread is a touch too sweet for my liking, though it grew on me a little.

WordPress 2.5 has been released, and WordPress.org now sports a refreshed look based on the redesigned admin backend. New features include a cleaner, faster dashboard, dashboard widgets, multi-file uploads with a progress bar, EXIF extraction and post search.
Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
I got Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath from The Software Boutique for S$89. The bundle includes a limited-edition Razer DeathAdder mouse, which looks ugly with the EA logo replacing Razer's. I never even finished Tiberium Wars, though.

I turned 24 today, now officially in my mid-twenties! Thanks to all my friends for the birthday greetings; it's the thought that counts. And thanks to Li Xiang, my brother and Huimin for the wonderful presents.

I caught Vantage Point at GV VivoCity on Thursday, 20th March 2008. I found it nice despite the repetition others disliked. I love how it conveys its message by replaying the same event from different perspectives.
