VB lecture in the morning, where the lecturer ran through last semester's paper, easy but tricky. Then to Marina Square for the minced pork noodles I crave every visit, though Lian isn't a fan of them.

VB lecture in the morning, where the lecturer ran through last semester's paper, easy but tricky. Then to Marina Square for the minced pork noodles I crave every visit, though Lian isn't a fan of them.
Three lessons at school: TBCM, MMPJ and VBAS. Checked my MMPJ assignment with the lecturer: an A. My VBAS interview at 2pm; I'd hoped to go first and leave early, with the lecture tutor interviewing us.
IGRA was my first exam, and it sucked: hard, with too little time. I hope I pass, or fail marginally so I scrape through overall. Waited four hours for MMAS, the opposite: easy, plenty of time.
The Half-Life 2 rumours I've been tracking all week turn out to be true: it's launching by the end of this year. Rejoice. According to Planet Half-Life and CS Nation, the game is scheduled for release.
Woke afternoon and bought lunch from my downstairs coffeeshop, months since I had its wan ton mee. My area has two coffeeshops: one famous for lor mee, the other for wan ton mee and western food.
First lesson was the IGRA revision lecture. Turns out the exam is this Wednesday, not Saturday, clashing with MMAS. I'll need to study harder. Luckily IGRA is open-book, so manageable; it's MMAS I'm more worried about.
Went to pray this afternoon, with exams looming, for quick recovery and good grades. Lunch at Bugis Junction; I'd wanted Mos Burger but settled on Swensen's, since my parents hate fast food. To Funan with uncle.
Came down with flu today: runny nose and a slight cough, but no fever. The SARS outbreak is getting bad, thanks to China covering it up since last year. Met Lian to watch Bullet Proof Monk.
Woke in the afternoon, feeling much better after battling my sore throat. Something's wrong with my computer though; on booting Windows, I get only the desktop wallpaper, no start menu and no icons. A real headache.
Reached school at 9am to finish my VB and submit before TBCM. Plenty of VB assignments in the lab were graphics-heavy, and many people used comic or cartoon characters, some fantastic, others so-so. Watched Johnny English.
My IGRA interview, as usual the lecturer was 15 minutes late. Mine took five minutes; I showed what my program does, no questions asked. He believed it was my work since no fancy touches like particles.
Lian came this morning for her DEAE assignment. Lunch at Cineleisure foodcourt before meeting Klaus and gang to buy Jacky's present. Walked till my legs ached: Wisma Atria to Far East to Shaw to Ngee Ann.
My IGRA interview was meant for 9am, but the lecturer turned an hour late and Lian was coming over, so I told him I'd book Wednesday. The whole class got interviewed except me. Watched The Returner.
Woke afternoon for lunch at World Trade Centre foodcourt, now Harbour Front Centre. The food was lousy and there's little to see, though it's nicer inside after renovations. Came home to print my MMAD/MMAS task 7.
Had my coffeeshop's lor mee for lunch, weeks since my last, I'd missed it. Went to Compass Point to meet Lian, who was 30 minutes late. Sat at Delifrance for a snack; the DeliPotatoes were nice.
Didn't blog yesterday, so here it is. School for MMAD tutorial, to submit TBCM assignment and pick my Year 3 electives. SP's elective system is dumb; I'll spare the rant. I took JSPG, Java Server Programming.
School for TBCM. My assignment is done, printed and bound. Skipped VB, since the lesson was for assignment work I'd finished. Lunch at Marina Square Mos Burger; tried the HotDog this time, nothing special. Watched Dreamcatcher.
No school, so Lian came over to watch Steal, a VCD I'd bought with The Returner. It's good, nicer than The Recruit, which I'd missed in cinemas. Lunch at Cineleisure foodcourt, then Heeren and Ngee Ann.
School for TBCM. Next week's the TBCM job-interview role play, so formal wear. Shouldn't have washed my long pants. Thanks to a classmate, my MMAD/MMAS prototype is done; only the beta test reports and questionnaire left.
Passed my BTT! Lian came over in the morning, then lunch at Marina Square Mos Burger. Watched Iron Ladies 2, a two-hour Thai film, the campest I've seen, though some parts were touching beneath the comedy.
Lunch was Ng Ah Sio's pork ribs soup at Rangoon Road, long overdue, and the best in Singapore. Spent the afternoon rushing my IGRA assignment, more or less done. I'd love to make the camera move.
Lunch was my favourite minced pork noodles at Bestway building, months since I had it, sorely missed. Spent the first half of the afternoon on my IGRA assignment, resting the second since it taxes the brain.
