DotA Allstars v6.31 has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map; I've also mirrored Cloud_str's 6.27b AI map for those who prefer playing against bots. Right-click and save target as to grab either, and do check the changelog.
DotA Allstars v6.30b has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map for download. Right-click and save target as to grab it, and do check the changelog, as this point release tidies up bugs from the earlier 6.30 version.
Thanks to Ahmed Karam for pointing out that my PayPal donation link was outdated. I've fixed it and added a dedicated donation page under Others. If you're feeling generous today, maybe you could drop me a couple of bucks. Thanks!
Li Xiang got into Art, Design & Media at NTU and Computing at NUS, and she'll choose ADM. She offered to take NUS Computing so we could study together; of course I'd love that, but I can't be selfish.
I caught Ice Age 2: The Meltdown on Friday midnight at GV Grand, a 90-minute film that's quite good and very funny, better than the first. I also caught Ultraviolet, an over-the-top action movie running just 88 minutes.
Today is April Fool's Day, and I've released updates to seven of my plugins, but rest assured this is no joke! Check the changelog. Among them, WP-DBManager 2.03 for WordPress 2.0 manages your database, allowing backups, optimisation and more.
Just want to share that Li Xiang also got into NUS Computing, the same course as me, so I'm thrilled! She's now waiting for her NTU letter. I think the NTU BFA suits her better, though. Congrats, dear!
Today marks my 22nd birthday, the fourth birthday of GaMerZ HomePage and 17 months with Li Xiang; good things always seem to fall on the 24th. I celebrated with my INTEC friends yesterday eating pizza at Singapore Discovery Centre.
Set in a futuristic Britain, the people are ruled by a strong government that instils fear over what they say and do. V, the iconic masked hero, urges the public to rise up against the regime.
DotA Allstars v6.29b has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map for download. Right-click and save target as to grab it, and do check the changelog, as this point release tidies up bugs from the recent 6.29 version.
Frozened.com now has a server in the Pacific Internet data centre, and I've just moved my site there. Many thanks to Zeus for helping me migrate. A cPanel-to-DirectAdmin conversion error left only one database, luckily the right one.
IT Show 2006 ran for four days, and I went on three of them. The first was with Li Xiang, when we bought a hidden item for my brother's 17th birthday on 28th March, costing $129.
Straight from WordPress.org: an important security issue was brought to the team's attention, and they've worked diligently to release a new stable version, 2.0.2, addressing it. The release contains several bug fixes and security fixes. Upgrade promptly, everyone.
It's the first day of March 2006, so as usual I've released updates to seven plugins and created three new ones. Frustrated with my messy install instructions? This update helps: WP-DBManager, WP-Polls and WP-Email now just need uploading whole.
Sony Ericsson has announced the K800i, successor to the K750i. The specs: a 262,144-colour 240 x 320 TFT screen, 3G with UMTS, a 3.2-megapixel CyberShot camera with Xenon flash, autofocus and 16x digital zoom, plus a second VGA camera and 64MB.
I caught Final Destination 3 yesterday at GV Grand and it was quite good, though not linked to the first two parts. The way people die is as gross as before, and poor Li Xiang couldn't sleep afterwards.
DotA Allstars v6.28 has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map for download. Right-click and save target as to grab it, and do check the changelog for this version's new content and balance changes.
A summary of Budget 2006: cash for all adult Singaporeans, with $800 if you earn $24,000 or less and live in a four-room or smaller HDB flat, $600 for higher earners in such flats, and $400 above that.
I'm looking forward to the next computer exhibition! IT Show 2006 runs from 9th to 12th March 2006, noon to 9pm, on Level 3, Level 4 (Halls 401 to 404) and Level 6 (Halls 601 to 603).
On Friday I went to my cousin's birthday dinner at Marina Square's Yuki Yaki, and the food is so much better than three years ago. It's now self-service with free-flow DIY ice cream, rather than the old plate-by-plate buffet service.
I spend about three hours a day fixing and improving my WordPress plugins. If you like them and my fast support, please consider donating to me. Thank you! You can do so by visiting my site's donation page.
Yesterday I went to an OCBC dinner with my mom at Grand Shanghai. The food was rather lousy, but the activities were cool, with sketching, fan painting and trishaw photos. My mom did a fan painting while we queued.
