All models of iPhone 14 will be launching on Friday, 16th September 2022, except iPhone 14 Plus, which will be available on Friday, 7th October 2022.

With regards to 5G/LTE networks in Singapore, we are getting the following models:

DreameBot L10s Ultra is the latest flagship robot cleaner from Dreame. Dreame is part of Xiaomi Ecological Chain. This means it is an independent company invested by Xiaomi.

Apart from Dreame, there are other robot cleaner manufacturers from China like Roidmi, Roborock, Ecovacs, and ILife.

Roborock G10 was launched in Singapore on the 7th July 2022 (7/7), and the recommended retail price (RRP) is S$1,699, though often you can get it way below the RRP during double-digit sales days like the upcoming 9th September 2022 (9/9).

Based on the previous 8/8 double-digit sales day, for the upcoming 9/9 double-digit sales day, the Roborock G10 should retail for about S$999.90 on both Shopee and Lazada. The usual price is around S$1,049.90.

After more than five long years with my eero (first generation), I finally got around to upgrade it to eero Pro 6 which supports wi-fi 6.

I got the 3-pack eero Pro 6 for US$389 (S$535) as there was a discount a few weeks back. If not, the usual price is US$599 (S$823). Since eero doesn’t ship to Singapore directly, you must go through a freight forwarder. In my case, I am using my usual HopShopGo. Shipping to Singapore is an additional US$55 (S$76), which excludes the 7% GST you have to pay since the item and shipping exceeds S$400 in value.

Ugreen DigiNest Pro Power Strip retails for S$169.99 on Lazada. Like most Ugreen products, if you do not have an urgent need for them, you can wait for a double-digit sales day (like the upcoming 8/8), where most of their items will be cheaper on that day.

DigiNest Pro is an interesting and probably the first product from Ugreen that comes with three AC ports, three USB-C ports, and one USB-A port.

Apple MagSafe Battery Pack retails for S$139. It provides your iPhone between 40% and 70% additional charge. 40% if you are on the iPhone 12/13 Pro Max and 70% on the iPhone 12/13 mini.

Inside the battery pack is a 7.62V, 11.13Wh battery. Hence the capacity is about 1,460 mAh.

Flipper Zero is a portable multi-tool for “hackers” who likes to play around with radio protocols and access control systems. It started as a Kickstarter project on 30th July 2020. It was then successfully funded on 29th August 2020 after raising a total of US$4,882,784 from 37,987 backers, which blew past their initial goal of only US$60,000.

I was their early bird, so I paid US$119 (S$166) without shipping as Flipper could not determine the shipping cost then. When they managed to get their logistics sorted out in September 2021, I paid US$13.37 (S$19) for shipping to Singapore.

Signs you are getting older is when you need to get a blood pressure monitor after your annual health checkup. I went for my annual health checkup on 8th July 2022, and the doctor mentioned that my blood pressure was slightly above the normal range.

The last personal laptop that I have was in 2008, the Apple 15.4″ MacBook Pro 2.53GHz (Late 2008). I used it during my university days. Since graduating in 2010, I have used my work laptop most of the time.

When this MacBook Pro started to spoil parts by parts in 2016, I threw it away and switched to Li Xiang’s hand-me-down Apple 13″ MacBook Pro Retina (Early 2015), and I have been using it since then.
