Woo This Site For Ripped
This site got ripped off; I discovered it this morning while checking my Extreme Tracking at school with nothing to do. The ripper's whole site, even his current version 3.1, is lifted straight from mine. Cheeky.

This site got ripped off; I discovered it this morning while checking my Extreme Tracking at school with nothing to do. The ripper's whole site, even his current version 3.1, is lifted straight from mine. Cheeky.
CANI assignment 1's deadline got extended to Wednesday, 21 August; the lecturer announced it after many student requests. I've finished the report, 600-plus words with four pictures, and I'll render the animation tomorrow if all goes well.
Some site updates, mostly coding: bumped the blog scripts from pre3 to pre4, added an 'Email This Article' feature, a 'Referers' tracker for where visitors come from, and page navigation to the image gallery's thumbnail view.
There's a pasar malam downstairs, so I met a few friends for a wander. This year's had few stalls, perhaps the economy; we covered the whole thing in 20 minutes. We hung out at a playground.
My last driving theory lesson this afternoon with Lester Goh. The instructor's English wasn't great, but his jokes were; I still remember how he said 'penalise' as 'pen-na-lise'. Afterwards, Queensway to buy Converse slippers on sale.
Spent the whole day home rushing my CANI assignment 1: seven hours, breaks included, for 12 seconds of animation. Then visited my grandfather and auntie in Toa Payoh for dinner: fish soup and fried oyster egg.
Singapore's 37th birthday, independence on 9 August 1965. Happy Birthday, Singapore! Watched Signs, not bad, at least better than Mimic 2, two hours. I'd wanted the 4.45pm show but arrived 3pm to find tickets sold out.
If you can read this, the site's migrated to the new host. You may need to re-enter some form fields, since cookies were stored under pixercor.net, not orientek.net. The migration went smoothly; all database tables running.
Tanglin Halt for the duck noodle, relocated from Pasir Panjang but still good. My mom's eaten there since she was young, quite a history. Watching Signs tomorrow at Cineleisure Orchard with my poly friends, 4.45pm.
Moving this site to a new host soon. PixerCor is closing down, taking the domain and hosting with it. Please always access via the main link; the new URL's coming. I'm uploading and configuring everything now.
Caught The Touch at Lot 1, not bad, with a decent storyline, though the animation sucks. Picked Heart Attack 5 from Music Junction, a three-CD set; I'll rip it soon, after which the discs gather dust.
700-plus words into my P&Q2 assignment 2, 800 to go, ten days till deadline. Starting CANI assignment 1 in tomorrow's practical. No more slacking. Lost three rounds of Warcraft 3 and won one; my teammates suck.
Sixth week of school. Handed in my DEUI assignment, 16 pages. The computer labs are at capacity, everyone rushing their last-minute work, typical for students; I won't deny I'm one of them. Started my P&Q2 next.
Woke at 1.30pm; can't blame me, I slept at 3am after coding image gallery pages, and it was raining, perfect for sleeping. On the way to Sim Lim Square, stopped at Waterloo Street temple to pray.
Some site updates: added page numbers to the photo gallery, images for JL and KN's birthdays, a few more blog links on the left, and a printer-friendly version of each blog entry. Small but handy touches.
Watched Mimic 2 at Plaza Singapura this afternoon, surprised it wasn't full when Signs and The Touch were both sold out. It wasn't great, the storyline crap, 90 minutes. Plenty of better movies are coming soon.
Sorry for the downtime from 1 to 2 August; PixerCor's host was apparently doing some server migration, though I don't know the details. Thanks to abnormal for bringing the site back online. Normal posting resumes tonight.
Celebrated Jie Lin and Kai Ni's belated birthdays. We'd ordered the cake from the SP Co-Op last week, collecting it only today, a mango cheesecake. Cut it at foodcourt 5, with everyone staring as we sang.
Nothing much yesterday, so no update; I was busy with my DEUI assignment 1. At page 9 with five interface elements, ten more plus a conclusion, six days left. Lost three Warcraft 3 games last night.
Out the whole day. After driving lessons, we visited the Volkswagen showroom for the Golf GTI but ended test-driving the new Bora. My mom's crunching the numbers; if it works out, we'll likely get that car.
Out all day, home before midnight. Met my poly friends for lunch, then watched Long Time Dead, scary and decent. We split: two friends and I went shopping and met another friend, while d-Z-a headed home.
To the National Library's main branch to research McDonald's for my P&Q2 module, then Orchard to buy presents for two friends' birthdays coming soon. Walked Takashimaya to Paragon to Heeren nearly twice, unsure what to get.
