Recoil Winders was the 7th Kickstarter project that I backed. I backed it this year on the 6th February 2012 and the project got funded on the 26th February 2012. They raised a total of US$141,465 out of the initial goal of just US$10,000. After 3 months in the works, I finally received it 2 days ago on Monday, 4th June 2012.

I pledged US$55 for 2 complete sets of Recoil Winders and 2 Racks (2 Small, 2 Medium and 2 Large Winders) and for international shipping it is an additional US$9. Paid a total of US$64 (S$82.31).

What is Recoil Winders

Recoil Cord Winder, the ONLY cord winder that is automatic, spring loaded, and designed to wind almost every one of the cords and cables that clutter our world.

How it works

I am very satisfied with Recoil Winders, it is solid (firm & sturdy) and works as advertised. I had some cable winders previously and they the quality of those is nowhere near the Recoil Winders. Even though I bought only 6 winders, there is 7 in the package I received. David (the guy behind the project) gave us a surprise by giving us an additional small black winder for all backers!
