Google Universal 22.5W Dual Port USB Type-C Charger
Bought the Google Universal 22.5W Dual Port USB Type-C Charger together with the Google USB Type-C to USB Standard-A Plug Cable for US$39.99 (S$57) and got it to ship through HopShopGo.
This is probably the only trustable USB Type-C Charger that I can find which has more than one USB Type-C port and is reasonably priced. Besides the charger, it also comes with a 1.8m USB Type-C to Type-C cable (USB 2.0 speed) which itself already cost US$19.99 (S$29).
The only disadvantage I can think of with this charger is that you can’t charge two USB Type-C device at 3A each because the maximum output for this charger is only 4.5A (22.5W). It does however allows up to 3A (15W) per port as per USB Type-C standards.
To compare, Apple’s 29W USB-C Power Adapter retails for S$68, but it has only one USB Type-C port and it doesn’t come with a USB Type-C cable. The standalone Apple’s USB-C Charge Cable (2m) already cost S$42.
One disadvantage of the Apple’s 29W USB-C Power Adapter is that it doesn’t offer 3A output. It outputs 2A at 14.5V and 2.4A at 5V according to XDA.
