Charging Discounts For Tesla In Singapore
There are more than ten Electric Vehicle (EV) charging companies in Singapore, and their prices range between S$0.40/kWh and S$0.80/kWh, with Direct Current (DC) charging being the most expensive.

DC charging is fast and usually will have an idling fee. So, when your car is charged, you need to move your vehicle.
Hence, I usually will go with Alternating Current (AC) charging as those are cheaper, usually around S$0.60/kWh, and most of the time, they don’t have an idling fee. I plan my trip. Hence, I typically wander around where I park, so time is not a concern.
I use PlugShare to determine what EV company is in the area I am visiting. Then, I will download the respective app to check the price.

The lowest price I got is actually at my parent’s condominium, which is on BEV (by Busways), where I pay S$0.45/kWh. I visit my parents at least once weekly, so I usually charge it there.
Tesla Destination Chargers (TDC)
If you are a Tesla owner, you can get free charging at all nine Tesla Destination Chargers (TDC) in Singapore.

You need to treat getting a TDC lot like striking the lottery. Since it is free, it is in high demand. With more and more Teslas on the road, getting a lot has been increasingly more challenging. Sometimes, this resulted in bad behaviors, like going against traffic to snatch the lot, blocking the lane while waiting for the lot, etc.

From Tesla Singapore’s Instagram post on 10th April 2025, it has been suggested that Tesla might replace most (if not all) TDCs with TSC V4.

They have started it with One Holland Village (OHV). OHV used to have 4 TDC, and now they have 4 TSC V4 despite Star Vista, which is nearby, having 3 TSC V3.

Tesla Owners Singapore (TOS)
Tesla Owners Singapore (TOS) is the official Tesla owners club in Singapore which is recognized by Tesla. It is a non-profit society that is registered with the Registry Of Societies (ROS) with a Unique Entity Number (UEN) of T21SS0075A.

Membership costs S$20 per year (application link). You must provide your Tesla Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Reservation Number (RN) to prove that you own a Tesla in Singapore.
Probably the most tangible benefit of being a member of TOS is the 5% discount for selected EV charging companies:
- Singapore Power (SP)
- Keppel Volt
- Charge+
- ChargEco (by Strides and YTL PowerSeraya)
- FastParkNCharge (by Wilson Parking)
- Juice+ (by EVCT)
If you spend more than S$400 on EV charging from the EV companies listed above, it makes sense to be a member of TOS. Note that not all charging locations are entitled to the discount.
A pro tip: before becoming a TOS member, sign up for an account with all the above-listed EV charging companies and use the same email address. This ensures that the TOS and EV companies can reconcile your email. The process by which TOS submits your email to the EV companies is still very manual, and it will take up to a month for the discount to be reflected in your account.
The user experience (UX) in the apps of various EV companies varies and is inconsistent. Some show your membership status, which means the discount is applied successfully. Some don’t show membership. Some show the prices before the discount, while some show the discounted price.
SP will send you an email, and the price stated in the SP app is before the discount.

Volt doesn’t show you the membership details, but the prices in the app shown are after the discount.

Both Charge+ and ChargEco show the membership status.

Charge+ shows the price before the discount, while ChargEco shows the price after the discount.

Tesla La Kopi Singapore (TLKP)
Tesla La Kopi Singapore (TLKP) is a Telsa community in Singapore that is free to join.

To join the active TLKP WhatsApp community, you must also provide your VIN/RN number to prove you own a Tesla in Singapore.
Once you join TLKP, you will also get a 5% discount for Charge+. I think Charge+ is the only EV company that gives discounts to TLKP members.
In fact, I joined TLKP first before TOS, so my Charge+ charging discount shows Tesla La Kopi instead of Tesla Owners Singapore.
