I caught Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer last Sunday, a noon show at GV VivoCity. There were lots of kids and the usual noise, but once the film began they fell quiet, well-behaved after all.

Shrek 3, Zodiac
I caught Shrek 3 two weeks ago at a Friday midnight show at GV VivoCity. Li Xiang suggested it, but true to her nickname Sleepy, she dozed off before it even started, during the trailers.
My WordPress Plugins June 2007 Update
It's 1st June 2007 here, so I'm proud to present updates to 12 of my 14 plugins. Most are bug fixes with some minor new features, WP-PostViews changing the most.

My 2006/2007 Semester 2 results: A- in Computing and Society, B- in Fundamentals of Information Systems, B+ in Enterprise Systems Development, C+ in Principles of Economics and B in Financial Accounting. My CAP is 3.35.
Next
I caught Next last week at GV VivoCity; it was slightly above average. My eyes were glued to the screen practically throughout, as it's quite an action-packed film. Next up is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Anything/Whatever Can Drinks
If you want to know what flavour your Anything or Whatever drink is, just check the ingredients label, since Singapore law requires the manufacturer to state the ingredients of that specific can. A neat workaround for these deliberately mystery-flavoured drinks.
Starcraft II Official
Yes! Blizzard's new game is officially StarCraft II, which I've waited ages for. The reveal opens with an FMV in a Terran-looking spaceship, zooming onto a metal door that slides open to reveal a chained, cigar-chewing prisoner.
WordPress 2.2
WordPress 2.2 has been released, and as usual I've updated GaMerZ.WordPress to it. Among the goodies, WordPress Widgets let you easily rearrange and customise areas of your blog, usually sidebars, with simple drag-and-drop.
GST Offset Package
I caught 28 Weeks Later at The Cathay, my first visit there. The building is confusing and the carpark cramped, so GV VivoCity still rocks. The film was only average; I reckon 28 Days Later was better.
Nokia N81, N82
The Nokia N81 is a slide phone measuring 102 by 50 by 17.9mm and weighing about 140g, with 8GB internal flash, up to 12.5 hours of music playback and 15 days of standby.
Movie Blues
I caught Spider-Man 3 at Lido with Li Xiang and her friends after a sushi buffet at Suki Sushi. That was my first and last time there, as the food is poor; Sakae Sushi is far better.
Crumpler Bags
I'd wanted two Crumpler bags from a HardwareZone mass order, but it fell through and I got my refund. I paid promptly, while others refused to pay and backed out when the organiser tried to place the order.
Exams Over
My exams are finally over; never have I been this stressed except at NUS. The competition is so high and the students seem ten times smarter, which makes you feel ten times dumber.
Blizzard Announcing A Game On 19th May 2007
Blizzard got back to us about the rumour that StarCraft 2 will be announced next month at their Worldwide Invitational in Seoul. A Korean website says it's being developed in 3D with a new race.
Room Makeover
My parents bought my brother and me each a King Koil queen-size bed, costing around $500 and arriving last Wednesday. Our previous mattress lasted ten years and the frame sixteen. Since the bed is big, I rearranged my room.
Fracture
Before our movie we queued about 20 minutes for doughnuts at Vinco The Donut Parlour on VivoCity's second level, and they were disappointing, not fluffy at all, as if the doughnut had gone on a diet. Overhyped.
Adobe Creative Suite 3 Hits Shelves
Adobe Creative Suite 3 has finally hit store shelves, in six flavours. Design Standard bundles InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat 8 Professional, while Design Premium adds Photoshop Extended and Flash.
My Own Wiki
Just following the trend, I've installed MediaWiki on my site. For the uninitiated, MediaWiki is the same software that powers Wikipedia. I plan to post things there that need frequent updating, starting with my WordPress plugins to-do list.
Ice Cafe Latte
I love an iced caffe latte, and when I start work I hope there's a Starbucks nearby. My ranking, best to worst: Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Gloria Jean's, McCafe and Spinelli.
Shooter
I caught Shooter on Sunday night, a film over two hours long that was slightly above average. The main character, Bob Lee Swagger, played by Mark Wahlberg, is practically an aimbot, with near-100% accuracy.
