X-Men 3: The Last Stand
I caught X-Men 3: The Last Stand on Saturday with Li Xiang, Laily and Suqin; luckily I booked early. The roughly two-hour film is meant to close the trilogy. I found X1 disappointing but X2 better.
The Da Vinci Code
I caught Over The Hedge at GV Jurong Point on Friday and rather liked it, one of the best cartoon films I've seen, better than Open Season in my view, though Li Xiang disagrees.
Banning The Da Vinci Code
No offence, but I find these actions really silly. Da Vinci Code protests are widespread. For goodness' sake, it's just a work of fiction, a movie. Wake up, everyone; it really isn't worth the outrage.
Poseidon
I met Kenny and his girlfriend for dinner last Monday at Manhattan Fish Market. It's similar to Fish & Co but noticeably cheaper; the fish and chips are $9.90 here versus $13.90 at Fish & Co.
Site Moving To XHTML Transitional
I'm working on getting this site XHTML Transitional validated by the W3C, and so far so good: the blog main page and the comments page have both passed validation. More pages should follow soon as I clean up the markup.
Mission Impossible III
I caught Mission: Impossible III on Saturday at GV Grand and it wasn't bad, better than MI:2, though rather short. They never explained what the Rabbit's Foot is, nor how Ethan Hunt got into the building to retrieve it.

The Wild
We had dinner at the usual pasta stall outside Ngee Ann City. We then caught The Wild at Orchard Cineleisure; it had been a while, and the place has changed a lot since I last visited.
Cafebiz
We celebrated our one-and-a-half years yesterday at Cafebiz in Traders Hotel. I used a SingTel birthday voucher for 20% off the brunch buffet. The spread was quite good with plenty of variety.

Li Xiang got into Art, Design & Media at NTU and Computing at NUS, and she'll choose ADM. She offered to take NUS Computing so we could study together; of course I'd love that, but I can't be selfish.
Ice Age 2 And Ultraviolet
I caught Ice Age 2: The Meltdown on Friday midnight at GV Grand, a 90-minute film that's quite good and very funny, better than the first. I also caught Ultraviolet, an over-the-top action movie running just 88 minutes.
My WP Plugins Update April 06
Today is April Fool's Day, and I've released updates to seven of my plugins, but rest assured this is no joke! Check the changelog. Among them, WP-DBManager 2.03 for WordPress 2.0 manages your database, allowing backups, optimisation and more.
She Got Into NUS Computing
Just want to share that Li Xiang also got into NUS Computing, the same course as me, so I'm thrilled! She's now waiting for her NTU letter. I think the NTU BFA suits her better, though. Congrats, dear!
Fonts Library
I found a few good websites offering free fonts: Acid Fonts, Pizzadude, which has a free fonts section to browse, Search Free Fonts, High Fonts and EKNP. Plenty there to liven up your designs and documents. Till then, happy hunting!
The Bodyshop Crazy
We celebrated Chan's birthday at Kushin-Bo, Suntec, and this time didn't eat ourselves too full. A PA voiceover sounded just like Jackey; did you try working part-time there, ha! Hope the custom-designed tee is to your liking.
My 22nd Birthday
Today marks my 22nd birthday, the fourth birthday of GaMerZ HomePage and 17 months with Li Xiang; good things always seem to fall on the 24th. I celebrated with my INTEC friends yesterday eating pizza at Singapore Discovery Centre.
