Site loads faster than my Dreamhost hosted sites! =)

Supposed to be, but don’t have to. LOL

I think my site runs a bit slow on Dreamhost, but part of that is probably my own fault with heavy scripts like Gallery 2 and some heavy javascript.

That said, I sometimes think Dreamhost puts the high profile sites on better servers with more resources than us little folks.

I see, maybe you are right about the high profile site. I only use commercial scripts like SMF and WordPress, the rest are all custom coded.

It all depends on the server. Dreamhost has a ton of servers with different sites on each one. Some are faster than others.

Some are newer then other also.

You are gonna love the switch. I have been using Dreamhost for a year soon and I am very happy with them. I dont think you will feel let down
