*UPDATE* Just downloaded the file and verify the checksum with FileVerifier++ and all the 3 hashes (CRC32, MD5 and SHA-1) matches exactly. Now I am going to install it.
*UPDATE 2* Installed WinXP SP3 and everything works normally at the moment. Firefox 3 Beta 5 loads MUCH FASTER.
any good or bad things about SP3? Actually I’m quite ignorant about the fixes and features SP3 is going to provide
no idea, but I think it is just bug fixes that is all. lol I don’t think there is any new features.
I have SP3 too. It’s running pretty smoothly so far. The strange thing is: when I go to Windows update, all of the updates that I have previously decided not to install (including the optional updates) are gone!
Perhaps it is included in SP3?
Finally SP3 is out, not the RC version. Now gotta be the tech assitant to install them in all my home comps now…
The SP3 includes SP1 and 2 also?
Yea, it is included, it is cumulative.
