Flybridge – iPhone/iPad Lightning Dock Adapter
I was one of the early backer of Flybridge. I backed the project on 29th December 2012 and the project got funded on 1st February 2013 after raising US$19,365 (the goal was US$15,000).
As I was the early backer, I am entitled to get the Flybridge for just US$10 and hence I bought two and shipping is an additional US$10. In total I paid US$30 (S$37.20). Flybridge shipped on 28th February 2013 and I received it on 27th March 2013.
I think Flybridge is the first Kickstarter project that I backed that was not delayed. Normally Kickstarter projects has an average delay of 1 to 3 months.
Flybridge is an adapter that convert your existing iPhone/iPad devices equipped with the old 30 Pin dock to the new Lightning connector.
Because it is just an adapter, you will need to pair it with the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (S$42) from Apple to make full use of it.
Flybridge is compatible with most if not all 3rd party docks, I am using the Sony ICF-C1iPMK2 as my alarm clock dock and it is compatible with it as well.
It also works fine with my Apple Universal Dock (S$84).
