Bolse 25W (5V/5A) 4-Port USB Wall/Desktop Charger
When I received an email from Bolse asking me to feature their products, I was pretty skeptical because I have never heard of Bolse before. So I went to do a search on them and realised that their products received pretty good ratings on Amazon and the prices are pretty reasonable. They are the direct competitors to brand like Anker.
The first product I gotten is the Bolse 25W (5V/5A) 4-Port USB Wall/Desktop Charger, which is retailing for US$18.99 (S$24) on Amazon.
It is a 4-Port USB wall charger capable of outputting a maximum of 25W/5A in total. It measures 8.5cm x 4.5cm x 5cm and weighs 195g.
It has built-in SmartIC technology which allows each port to charge the USB device at full speed. SmartIC Technology works by having its own microchip that detects the device plugged into through USB PIN signals, which gives output at full power and full charging speed.
Having said that, you can’t charge four iPads at the same time. I tried with two iPads and one iPhone 5s and that is the most it can take. Once I plugged in the forth device, which is a Nexus 5 smartphone, both iPads stop charging.
I kinda like the design of this wall charger because the USB ports are facing upwards rather than sideways which makes plugging-in and removing of the USB cable easy.
