Anker Powerline USB-C to USB-C Cable
If you are looking to use a USB-C to USB-Cable to charge your USB-C MacBook Pro, your USB-C power adapter and USB-C cable need to support USB Power Delivery.
The Anker PowerLine USB-C to USB-C Cable is retailing for US$15.99 (S$23) and is available in 3ft (0.9m).
It can be an alternative to Apple USB-C Charge Cable which is only available in 2m and cost S$48.
Similar to Apple USB-C Charge Cable, this cable supports USB Power Delivery and is rated up to 60W making it suitable to use with the Apple 29W or 61W USB-C charger.
Also, it supports USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) which give you data speed of up to 5Gbps. In comparison, the Apple USB-C Charge Cable only offers USB 2.0 speed of up to 480Mbps.
Again, as with most Anker products on Amazon, it doesn’t ship to Singapore directly. So I have to ship it through my US freight forwarder, HopShopGo.
