I signed up for Zym Mobile so I can use it for my BlackVue DR770X-2CH LTE Dashcam in my Tesla Model 3 Highland Car.

When I signed up, they gave me two more data-only SIMs that have 3GB every month. A few months back, Zym had an outage, and hence they compensated by giving all subscribers an additional 100GB for 90 days. So my two free SIMs have 100GB now for 90 days.

I used one of them in my iPad Pro 11″ (M4) and have one spare. So I decided to get a mobile hotspot to use my spare SIM with it.

After doing some research, I decided to get the D-Link 5G Mobile Wi-Fi 6 Hotspot (DWR-U2100).

I bought it for S$174 during 9/9 sale from SinSeng Components on Lazada. I compared the prices on both Shopee and Lazada, and it is cheaper on Lazada. The usual retail price is about S$209.

The reason I chose DWR-U2100 is that it charges via USB-C, has Wi-Fi 6, and supports 5G networks.

It has a massive 6,000mAh battery that should last the whole day. You can even use it like a power bank to charge your phone.

The 2″ touch screen is a nice addition that allows you to view various settings. You will still need to connect to the web interface to change them.

Nano SIM is supported out of the box; no adapter is needed.

Even though 40 users can connect to it simultaneously, you probably will not need it. You can set the limit in the web interface.
