Crumpler Pouch – Artisanal Loaf
Bought Crumpler's Artisanal Loaf pouch from the VivoCity store for S$40, dropping to S$36 with the CitiBank card discount. Grabbed it before flying to Hong Kong to hold all my chargers and cables, with room to spare.
Cases, docks, stands, and bags for phones, tablets, and laptops, with plenty of magnetic accessories.

Li Xiang got me the Crumpler Herbas (L) Wide as a birthday present, thanks Dear! The bag is lightweight, slim and compact, fitting an 11-inch MacBook Air nicely. I'm using it as my iPad bag for now.
Crumpler released a new pouch called The Tuft two days ago, this one bundled with their carbine hook. Available in three sizes and three colours, though by the time I visited Raffles City only the medium (S$35) and large remained.
I'm a big Crumpler fan with about five bags and five pouches, and I'd eyed the Seedy One remake for months before finally getting it last week. Retail is S$169, but I saved 10% as an EpiCentre member.
With more gadgets come messy wires and crowded power sockets. I'd eyed Bluelounge's Refresh station for days but it's hard to find here, stocked only at EpiCentre Ion Orchard, so I settled on the Konnext SynCharger.
Inspired by DK, I'm finally posting my geek bag over two years later. It rides to work inside my Crumpler Moderate Embarrassment. Contents include two 8GB USB drives, a 1TB WD My Passport and some Sanyo Eneloops.
Fabrix Cases sent me a complimentary Fabrix Booklet for iPad worth US$59.90, probably because I've bought several cases from them for my MacBook Pro, netbook, iPhone 3GS and iPad. I think I'll use this one from now on.
Got the TuneWear IceWear for my iPod nano 6G from DG Lifestyle Store at VivoCity for S$28, and it's totally not worth it. The two screen protectors scratch far too easily, and the silicon cover fits poorly, far too big.
Received my black Speck PixelSkin HD from the iPhone 4 Case Program, shipped 7th September and arriving on the 14th. Made of thermoplastic polyurethane, it's much harder than cheap silicon cases, and I love its matte black finish.
Received my black Apple iPhone 4 Bumper from the iPhone 4 Case Program today, shipped 20th August. It retails at US$29, but I find nothing special beyond the metallic volume and power buttons; it doesn't protect the back.
My clear Incase Snap Case for iPhone 4 from the iPhone 4 Case Program arrived yesterday, with Apple's shipping notice on 16th August. Being a free case, it came via DHL Global Mail in an envelope.
If you bought an iPhone 4, Apple gives you a free case under the iPhone 4 Case Program. Apply within 30 days, and your phone must be purchased before 30th September 2010. Just download the program app to register.
When I got my iPhone 3G in 2008, I hunted everywhere for the universal dock adapter, finding it nowhere on Apple Singapore or at resellers. I only found one a year later in Taiwan at an authorised reseller.
Bought the SwitchEasy Nude for iPhone 4 at VivoCity's Best Denki for S$32. Choices are slim since the iPhone 4 launched under two months ago. This 1mm-thin Lexan polycarbonate shell is so thin I nearly snapped it removing my phone.
When I saw the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit at S$38 on Apple Singapore's store, shipping showed two to three weeks. I ordered it anyway with my brother's iPad Case, and surprisingly both shipped the very next day.
Mobile Fun sent me a Mobile Phone Tripod Holder for review last month, handy for self-shot photos using your phone's timer or for shooting video. I'd expected flimsy quality on opening the package, but it actually turned out reasonably solid.
A huge Crumpler fan, I wanted a work bag fitting my iPad and A4 paper. I first eyed the S$81 Skivvy (Small), but changed my mind, since it's really just a sleeve for a 12-inch laptop.
Bought Crumpler's Photo Neck Strap, The Industry Disgrace, at Raffles City for S$25, though the website oddly lists S$34.24, likely an error. It's definitely worth it; you really feel the difference between this and the camera's stock strap.
The Desk Genie Non-Slip Charging Desk Stand holds your phone while it charges, and doubles as an 8-in-1 memory card reader and a two-port USB hub. The package bundles the stand with eight different charging connectors and a charging cable.
Received my Apple iPhone 3GS/3G USB Desktop Sync & Charge Cradle from MobileFun yesterday. At just £9.99 it's a great alternative to Apple's own iPhone 3G Dock and Universal Dock, working exactly the same, bundling cradle, cable and charger.
I received my Cool Bananas Netbook Organizer Bag from Gear Zap two days ago. It's brown, made of durable nylon and faux leather, measuring 24 by 30 by 7cm, and fits most netbooks with screens from 8.9 to 12 inches.
Received my Incipio Orion case from bestpric3, fitting my iPhone 3GS perfectly, though still a touch tight until it breaks in. Its EasyReach tab lets you pop the phone out easily with a simple pull. A neat, well-made case.
