There is nothing wrong with my Sonoff smart wall switch that makes me want to switch to Aqara smart wall switch. I am getting just one Aqara smart wall switch to let Li Xiang feel the difference between touch and tactile-based wall switches so that we have more choices for our new house.
My pledge level is the “Flash Sale – NSPanel,” where I paid HK$389 (S$68) for the Sonoff NSPanel, and shipping to Singapore cost me HK$94 (S$17). So in total, I paid HK$483 (S$85).
Back Story
Right at the beginning of my smart home journey in 2016, I have been using MCO Z-Wave smart wall switches.
I have used a mix of both Series 3 and Series 4 MCO switches. All my 1-gang switches are Series 4 (MH-S411), and all my 2-gang and 3-gang switches are Series 3 (MH-S312 and MH-S314).
The listed price is £29.17 (S$52) but they do offer bulk discount if you buy either 4 or 8 units. In my case, I bought 5 of it and hence the price of £26.24 (S$47) each.
After getting my hands on the Fibaro Starter Kit which includes a wall plug, I got kinda addicted to monitor my energy usage of my always-on switches like the television switch, Internet switch and computer switch.
I think I came across Automate Asia in the local news. So when I needed to make my house “smarter”, I decided to engage their services.
Note that this is not a sponsored post, I paid for their services. Just wanted to do a shout out to Mike and the team at Automate Asia for the awesome service with the answers to my noob questions.
