My third and final product from Aukey is the Aukey 10-Port USB 3.0 Hub. It is retailing for US$49.99 (S$68) on Amazon.

The Aukey 10-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a USB 3.0 hub that is made up of aluminum to match the design of your Mac. It measures 183mm x 66mm x 34mm and weighs 180g. Because it is USB 3.0, it supports data transfer rate of up to 5Gbps. It comes with a 12V/3A power adapter and a 1m USB 3.0 cable (Standard-A to Standard-A).

Do you know that Acronis is founded in Singapore in 2002 and they moved their HQ back to Singapore just last year?

Acronis was founded by Serguei Beloussov, Ilya Zubarev, and Max Tsyplyaev as a separate business unit within SWsoft and in 2003, Acronis was spun off as a separate company. Just a FYI, SWsoft is the parent company of Parallels, Inc (source: Wikipedia).

The new Xiaomi Mi 5,000mAh Power Bank is replacing the short-lived Xiaomi Mi 5,200mAh Power Bank.

It was put on sale for the first time in Singapore at 12pm on 13th February 2015. The sale is meant to coincide with Lunar New Year and hence it is an open sale instead of the usual limited flash sales. Open sale means you get to purchase Mi products anytime.

The second product that I ordered from Aukey is the Aukey 48W 9.6A 4-Port Car Charger. It is retailing for US$16.99 (S$23) on Amazon. I have not seen a similar charger like this from Anker before.

This is the most powerful car charger that I have seen in the market because it is capable of a 9.6A combined output and since there it is a 4-port charger, each port can output a maximum of 2.4A simultaneously.

I have been seeing the brand Aukey appearing quite often on Gizmodo’s Deals and it seems to be a good alternative to Anker. From the looks of the design, it seems both company get from similar OEMs.

So when Aukey contacted me asking me to feature/review their products, I accepted the offer. I just need to pay for shipping from HopShopGo since they don’t ship directly to Singapore from Amazon.

Been about 10 months since lesterchan.net v4.2. For v4.3, the changes are mostly cosmetic and backend.

If you opt-in, every time there is a new post on this site, you will get a push notification as shown in the image below.

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad will be available in Singapore tomorrow, 10th February 2015 at 12pm for S$299. This time round, Xiaomi did not state the quantity of Mi Pad available so I am guessing they are not expecting the demand to be high.

Only the 16GB white will be available whereas in China, you will get a choice of 16GB or 64GB with six colors: white, red, black, blue, green and yellow.

I always wanted to get a Herschel Supply‘s backpack but just lack the impulse to do so because I already have lots of bags.

The impulse came when I was shopping around Orchard Road with my secondary school friend who is back in Singapore for a week.
