Ah Sony, you and your proprietary connector… Would transferring the music files using standard USB to micro-USB connection ruin the quality? I don’t get it. I’d love to get a pocketable FLAC player one of these days when I have some extra money and NWZ-A15 seems to be a sweet option until I read about the non standard cable.
How is the audio quality btw?

300Mbps for upload and download is just plain awesome. I truly envy you!

Agreed. Price is a little bit steep, but that goes for any Thunderbolt product. However with its Thunderbolt and RAID combination, this is possibly the best (bulky) portable drive in the market at the moment. Obviously not for everyone.

A very interesting product by WD. Too bad I am going to use the Thunderbolt port on my Macbook Air for external monitor.

Thanks for sharing your thought on that. Next time, I will consider D-Link for networking peripherals. They seem to be catching up with the design for the casing, main reason why I always checked them off my list.

Had the same first impression in terms of the design, “Mac Pro!”.
Anyway, how do you rate D-Link’s firmware in overall compared to Linksys/Cisco nowadays? I find the latter to be buggy during release and sometimes rarely maintained.

Nice post and photos, Lester. Do you really own a car in Singapore? 🙂

Ah ok, thanks for the answer. I guess I’ll just test it myself when mine arrives from Amazon.

Just ordered it from Amazon. One question: can it be paired with Android devices also?
