The casing of my new computer is significantly larger than my previous computer, and I still chose to place it on the desk rather than below it because it is less dusty.

With limited space on my standing desk and with the larger Edifier MR5 speakers as compared to the Bose Companion 20, I decided to get a speaker stand that can be mounted to my desk.

After upgrading my computer, I was looking to upgrade its speaker as well. I was using the Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System, which is approaching 6 years old.

I was reading a lot in r/BudgetAudiophile and narrowing down the brands. My budget is about S$300, and I don’t need a subwoofer. I narrowed down to three speakers, the AudioEngine A2+, Edifier MR5 and Edifier M60.

Anker 25000mAh 165W Power Bank as the product name suggests is a 25,000mAh power bank that is capable of up to a maximum output of 165W across all its four ports.

I bought it on Lazada during 11/11 double-digit sales day for S$83.25. It is a steal because the recommended retail price is usually S$159.90, and even with discounts, it doesn’t drop below S$100. The price for 11/11 on Shopee still costs more than S$100 after stacking all the vouchers.

I find myself constantly moving my ULTIDESK Xtreme Standing Desk back and forth against the wall to install new items. Items such as the Apex+ EVO G27 27″ Monitor and my new AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D computer.

With the weight of the monitors and computer on the table, it is cumbersome to move the table.

Five and a half years have passed, and it is time to upgrade my AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, which I bought back in March 2020. My budget this year is also the same as it was 5 years ago, which is around S$3,500.

I will be passing the computer to my nephew, who just took his PSLE this year. The computer should last him another 4 to 5 years, which hopefully would bring the total lifespan of this computer to 10 years.

The product name is quite a mouthful: Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. As the name suggests, it is a 40W charger that can deliver a peak of 60W for a short period of time.

Anker 140W Charger is a 4-Port charger that is capable of a maximum output of 140W.

I bought it on Shopee during 10/10 sale for S$60.27. The usual retail price is about S$85.90.

If you are looking for a cheaper “AirTag” that works with Apple Find My network, the Ugreen Smart Tag is a good alternative.

You probably will not have heard of the company AirGradient. AirGradient is a company based in Chang Mai, Thailand, which makes air quality monitors for both indoor and outdoor use.
