Today marks the 38th birthday of Singapore since it gained its independence in 1965.

My driving instructor called me in the morning to ask me about my school schedule. He told me to cancel away my 21st August 2003 lesson because it will not make much a difference. So will be starting my practical lessons officially in October. We will need about 25 lessons within 3 months. Doubt I can pass before Christmas. There goes my wish.

I went to pray my grandmother before having lunch at Bak Kut Teh(Pork Ribs Tea) at Ng Ah Sio Pork Ribs Soup Eating House. Went to Sheng Siong Supermarket at Chin Swee road. Heard a lot of it from my mom. I don’t really like the shopping atmosphere. Still prefer NTUC, Cold Storage, or Carrefour.

Came home took a nap till the evening. Watched the beginning part of the national day parade. Only like the part where Sun Yan Zi sing the theme song, One United People. I think the security at the national stadium is very tight.

I went to Ikea for dinner, and thus miss the fireworks display =(. Bought my TV stand, Ikea is having their annual sale, thus paid $89 for it. My brother bought a clip-on alarm clock for $15.

Still waiting for the Best Denki voucher to come before I can buy my TV.

Lots of good TV shows now. Back to TV.
