Sonos One SL
Bought the Sonos One SL on Amazon during their Amazon Prime Day sale for S$259. The original retail price is S$299, but during Amazon Prime Day, only the Sonos One SL (Black) dropped to S$279. You can get an additional S$20 off using the promo code PRIMEDAYAPP with a minimum spend of S$60. And that is how I ended up with S$259.
The packaging on Sonos One SL felt cheap as compared to Sonos One.
Sonos One SL is the true successor of Sonos PLAY:1 as it comes without any microphones, and hence there is no smart assistant support like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
In terms of everything else, it is exactly the same as Sonos One, including the dimensions and weight.
The only way to tell both apart is at the top. Since Sonos One SL comes without microphones, the microphone indicator is missing, along with the ring of tiny microphone holes.
I initially bought three Sonos PLAY:1, but sadly one spoiled, and I have to throw it away. So I am left with two, one in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom.
I intend to use the two Sonos PLAY:1 as surround speakers for my living room, and hence I am replacing them with Sonos One SL in their respective rooms.
