Sonoff RM 433 Multipurpose Custom Remote Controller
My MCO light switch in my Kitchen and Games Room decided to give up connecting to Z-Wave, so I replaced it with Sonoff T2UK Wi-Fi Smart Wall Switches.
I still find Wi-Fi is more reliable for me than Z-Wave thanks to my eero Wi-Fi System.
Since now more than half of my light switches are on Sonoff, I decided to get the Sonoff RM 433 Multipurpose Custom Remote Controller, so I can control up to eight lights using the 433 MHz frequency. This is on top of the regular app control via Wi-Fi.
The Sonoff RM 433 Multipurpose Custom Remote Controller retails for S$7.25 on the official Sonoff store in Shopee.
You can ignore the icons on the remote itself. It is useless if you are just pairing it with a light switch.
It doesn’t come with batteries. So you have to get the 27A/12V battery separately. I bought the batteries on Shopee as well.
Pairing the Sonoff T2UK Wi-Fi Smart Wall Switches with the remote control is straightforward and doesn’t take you more than five seconds per switch. Press and hold the light switch you want to pair for three seconds until you hear a beep sound, and press the button on the remote control. And that’s it. Easy peasy.
