I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Xiaomi Mi Selfie Stick Tripod, and I found the Yunteng Selfie Stick Tripod Stand on Lazada that cost only half the price. I got it at S$11.54.
Unlike the Xiaomi Mi Selfie Stick Tripod, the mobile phone holder of the Yunteng Selfie Stick Tripod Stand doesn’t rotate. So if you want to switch between portrait and landscape, you have to unscrew the holder, rotate it, and screw it back again.
I have been wanting to get the Xiaomi Mi Selfie Stick Tripod. But the retail price of S$28.90 makes me put that thought on hold as I don’t think it is worth so much.
Despite selfie being so popular last year, I don’t own a selfie stick myself. And hence when I was in Hong Kong last December, I am determined to get a good one.
I chanced upon the Yunteng Monopod Selfie Stick in SIMCITY (47-51 Shantung Street, Mongkok, Kowloon) and it was the best quality selfie stick that I can find within a budget of S$20. In fact, it cost only HK$98 (S$17).
