The Dell UltraSharp InfinityEdge monitors are finally available in Singapore. I have been waiting for it since I heard of the products last month.

InfinityEdge monitors means they comes with an ultra-thin borders on all sides.

The Dell UltraSharp U3415W 34″ Curved Monitor has been available in Singapore since mid-December 2014 (I didn’t realised that) for S$1,499.

I personally think that the price is pretty reasonable since Dell’s high-end monitors are always about that range. In fact the U3415W is the cheapest of the high end Dell monitors. The Dell UltraSharp UP2715K 27″ Ultra HD 5K Monitor cost S$2,699 and the next in line is the Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q 32″ Monitor which cost S$2,259 and followed by the Dell UltraSharp U3014 30″ Monitor which will set you back S$1,749.

The Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor (UP2715K) will be available in Singapore next month (December 2014) for S$2,699.

In contrast, iMac with Retina 5K display starts at S$3,388.

Thanks to Dell Singapore, I have a chance to play with the Dell UltraSharp U3011 30″ Monitor for 2 weeks. The Dell UltraSharp U3011 30″ Monitor is retailing for S$1,509.

Monitor is like a computer, once you upgrade, you will never look back. Few years ago, 17″ monitor is the norm, now is 24″ and in a few years time 27″/30″ will be the norm.

Dell really has great customer service. If you all want to get anything from Dell, do let me know, I will introduce the sales representative from Dell that I bought my monitor from.

My monitor came earlier than I expected in 2 ways:
1. According to Dell Support Order Status page, it was supposed to be delivered to me on the 21st April 2008. However, yesterday, I received an SMS as well as an email asking me to confirm the delivery of my monitor on the next day (which is today) and I was so delighted to hear that.
2. My delivery time slot was supposed to be from 2 pm to 6 pm today, however, I got woken up by the doorbell sound at 12.03 pm and there is it, the delivery man with my monitor.
