I backed the MOGICS Power Donut/Bagel project on Kickstarter on 14th February 2016. The project was funded on 29th February 2016 after raising a total of US$437,738 out of their initial goal of US$15,000 from 9,882 backers.
Both the Power Donut and Power Bagel are travel power strips which is shaped like a circle for space saving.
Leagoo is a brand that not many have heard of (including me). But you might have guessed it. Leagoo is a Chinese smartphone brand and it’s parent company is Shenzhen OTEDA Technology Co. Ltd.
It has launched it’s first phone in Singapore called the Leagoo Shark 1 and is retailing for S$399. You can get it at various mobile retailers. It is not yet available at telcos in Singapore yet.
Unfortunately, not all banks are on the list. For the initial roll out only credit cards from these five banks are supported: POSB, DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).
The Lomography’s Lomo’Instant was borned out of a Kickstarter Project two years ago. It garnered 8,448 backers with a total of US$1,118,333 pledged out of their initial goal of US$100,000.
There are several designs available and prices range between S$168 and S$258 on Lomography Online Store.
I backed the Flip British Plug on Kickstarter on 22nd November 2015. The project was funded on 18th December 2015 after raising a total of £28,115 out of their initial goal of £15,000 from 1,140 backers.
I chose the £14 reward level and shipping to Singapore cost another £5. So in total, I paid £19 (S$38).
Circles.Life is a Singapore-based consumer brand of Liberty Wireless. It is founded by three entrepreneurs, Rameez Ansar, Abhishek Gupta and Adeel Najam who had previously worked for Temasek Holdings, McKinsey, StarHub and other companies.
