Windows 10 Launching on 29th July 2015 in Singapore

Windows 10 will be launching in Singapore on 29th July 2015 alongside 189 markets globally as a free upgrade to users running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 or on new Windows 10 devices.

If you don’t qualify for the upgrade for some reasons, you can get it from Microsoft Online Store [1]. Windows 10 Home [2] retails for S$229 and Windows 10 Pro [3] retails for S$399.

Microsoft broke away from the October release timeframe and brought forward the release of Windows 10 to July. Windows 7 was released in Singapore on 22nd October 2009 [5], Windows 8 was released in Singapore on 26th October 2012 [6] and Windows 8.1 was released in Singapore on 17th October 2013 [7].
You can reserve your free Windows 10 upgrade starting today through a simple reservation process. In your system tray at the bottom of your screen, simply click on the Windows icon, and then complete the reservation process. For more information, checkout www.windows.com/windows10upgrade [8].

If you are intending to upgrade from Windows 7/8.1, you will have one year from 29th July 2015 to take advantage of the free upgrade.
