NUS Matriculation
NUS Matriculation was very fast, within 20 minutes I am already paying for my notebook. Upon entering the sports hall, we submitted most of our forms and we get the NUS matriculation card immediately. After that, there will be an area where all the laptops booth are and you can purchase the laptops straight from there. For cash and carry, you only can pay by NETS, Cheque or Cash. If you opt for the notebook loan, you will get your laptop around end August.
After that, we went to the 2nd level where all the CCAs booth are, I bought the SoC Matriculation Pack for $8, kinda regretted, but just take it as supporting them for the effort they put in. If you want to siam all the CCAs booth, just walk as fast as you can and when they stop u, just say not interested. LOL
Cool post title right? By combining Lady In The Water together with The Lake House. LOL
Been a long time since my last entry, been very very busy with my NUS activities, it seems that everything is compress within 2 weeks. Hectic.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
Caught Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest last weekend, the movie was not bad, lasted for about 150 minutes. The ending was like WTF? Apparently Pirates of the Caribbean will be a trilogy, and in the third part there will be a new villian called Sao Feng (acted by Chow Yun-Fat), captain of a red-sailed pirate ship named Empress. More information here.
NUS
Been going to NUS on Monday and Friday for my Maths (MA1301) and Qualifying English Test (QET) respectively and will be going again this Monday for my Data Structures And Algorithms (CS1102) placement test. This batch enrolled into NUS, for DMMT students we have been exempted 3 modules CS1101, CS2102 and CS3240, whereas last year, there is no exemption. Lucky us. Glad to see my poly classmates, Luvi and WeiQuan got into the same course.
EDIT: Added another 27 pictures from our disposable underwater camera to our Redang Gallery.
Being the lazy me, I use Ctrl C + Ctrl V from sleepy’s blog and modified a little.
Sup guys,
I am back from Redang and I have uploaded some pictures, click here -> Redang’s Trip July 2006. Most of the pictures are there except the pictures we took using the disposable underwater camera. We will developed/digitise it before adding it on to the gallery.
Shakira singing Bamboo Hips Don’t Lie live at the closing ceremony of FIFA World Cup 2006. It is rare as it was not broadcast on many TV Stations. It is a must watched.
Italy is the winner for the FIFA World Cup 2006 after beating France 5-3 on penalty shoot out.
Germany is in the 3rd place after beating Portugal 3-1.
It is the 4th time they have won the title with only Brazil leading with 5 times.
Today shall be my last day in camp. After today, I shall clear leave all the way till 4th August 2006 (Friday), and that is when I get my Pink IC.
Greets to all my INTEC friends, thanks so much for the help and support you have given me for the past 8 months. I really enjoyed my stay in INTEC. One of the best place to be posted to in SAF.
