Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L
Peak Design Everyday Backpack was born out of a Kickstarter project more than two years ago. The Kickstarter project raised a total of US$6,565,782 from 26,359 backers for Peak Design.
There are two sizes of the Everyday Backpack, 20L, and 30L. The 20L retails for US$259.95 (S$353) while the 30L retails for US$289.95 (S$393).
Four colors are available for both sizes, Black, Charcoal, Ash, and Tan. I bought the Charcoal because it is their flagship color.

I used that coupon code to buy this bag, Peak Design Field Pouch, and Peak Design Leash . That is the maximum purchase I can do without the need to pay 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) back in Singapore. Delivery for all three items cost US$24.95 (S$34).

Without any contents in the bag, the Everyday Backpack is already heavy at 1.4 kg. It measures 46 cm in height, 30 cm in width, and 17 cm in depth.
Similar to the Peak Design Field Pouch, the outer material of the bag is 400D nylon canvas, and then the canvas is coated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR) for weatherproofing.
The first thing I notice about the bag is that there are many straps!
All the metal buckles of the staps are made from anodized aluminum with a sandblasted finish with a protective clear coat.
Hypalon is a type of synthetic rubber made from chlorosulfonated polyethylene, and only the Charcoal color has Hypalon touchpoints.
The zips on the bag are anti-theft. After zipping it up, you can buckle the zipper pull to the loops on the bag.
The chest strap, which you clip onto the shoulder strap is also removable.
Lastly, there are two more straps at the bottom of the bag to secure items like a bigger tripod or your shoes.
The material used for the interior of the bag is spun polyester twill.
Both the left and right side pocket houses an external strap (for securing items like a tripod) and the removable waist strap.
On the left and right flap of the main compartment, houses pocket for you to hold small items like camera batteries.
The pockets have color indication so you can use it to differentiate between the fully charged batteries and empty batteries. Since I am not using as a camera bag, it is not that useful for me.
The left flap includes three large pockets while the right flap includes three small pockets and two large pockets.
When you open up both flaps, it fully exposed the main compartment of the bag where you can use the three FlexFold dividers to organize your items.
Three FlexFold dividers are included in the bag for you to organize your things. They are made from compression-molded high-density Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foam.
Quick access is from the top of the bag. Inside the top compartment, there is one small pocket, laptop slot, and tablet slot.
For laptops, it supports up to a MacBook Pro 15″ or any other laptops measuring up to 38 x 25 x 2.5 cm. For tablets, it supports up to 12.9″ iPad Pro or any other tablets measuring up to 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9 mm.
I am using it to partition my Peak Design Tech Pouch at the bottommost part of the bag followed by a small partition to house my Peak Design Field Pouch.
