Testing Sonos 5.1 Surround Sound
Having upgraded to a Sonos 5.1 system, Beam, Sub (Gen 3), and two PLAY:1, I wanted to confirm it was working correctly. With resources scattered, I pieced together a guide using Netflix Test Patterns.

Singtel has partnered with Netflix to offer customers promotional access. Re-contracting or signing up for a Singtel mobile plan or Fibre Entertainment Bundle+ between 22nd January and 22nd July 2016 earns up to nine months of free Netflix.
Disclosure: I was gifted an ExpressVPN subscription for this guest post by Guy Miller. After Netflix launched in 130 more countries in January 2016, becoming a near-global service, ExpressVPN helps users unblock the larger US Netflix library.
At CES 2016, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced the service's launch in almost every country except China. A subscriber since April 2015 via VPN, I'd long awaited this, since VPN access was slower, more cumbersome, and required blocking Google DNS.
Netflix is coming to Singapore in early 2016, alongside South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Here's hoping the local catalogue of movies and TV series is a good one. Netflix is the American on-demand streaming service expanding rapidly worldwide.
Following my earlier post on watching Netflix in Singapore via UnoTelly SmartDNS, today I feature an alternative, Unblock-Us. Founded in Toronto in 2010, Unblock-Us was the first company to offer a DNS-based SmartDNS solution for accessing content unavailable locally.
There are two ways to watch Netflix in Singapore: a VPN or a DNS. I prefer the DNS method, simply pointing your router's DNS to UnoTelly's SmartDNS. Once configured, everyone connected to the router can access Netflix on their devices.
