Rainy Afternoon
Slept till 3.30pm. I'm waking later daily. More Warcraft III with Demoblitzer and Reaper: won first round, then nothing but losses; we suck. Slept at 3am. Meant to meet Lian at 4.15pm but woke at 3.30.

Slept till 3.30pm. I'm waking later daily. More Warcraft III with Demoblitzer and Reaper: won first round, then nothing but losses; we suck. Slept at 3am. Meant to meet Lian at 4.15pm but woke at 3.30.
Woke at 1.30pm; the more I sleep, the more I want to. Marina Square with family, lunch at food court: sirloin steak on hot-plate, $7.80. OP for shirt and shorts, but XL when I wanted M.
Woke at 11am, took Lian to Burger King at Tiong Bahru Plaza, long since last; we used to hit Suntec's McDonald's or Burger King after school. Sent her to Eunos, home to sleep, short on rest.
Watched Die Another Day at Great World City, two hours, nice, with action every minute. Not for movie-goers who want a story, though. Steamboat for dinner at home, where my mom always prepares too much food.
Today marks the end of Muslim fasting, Hari Raya Puasa. Just back from supper at Henderson Market: the Yong Tao Foo, a one-hour wait, since the stall auntie always serves familiar faces first, jumping the queue.
Woke at 1.30pm despite sleeping at midnight. The more I sleep, the comfier it gets. Met my dad at coffeeshop for lor mee; he'd fished Sentosa bridge, caught nothing. His friend reckons crystal will replace silicon.
Lunch with Lian at my downstairs coffeeshop. The second batch is done, the fourth batch's photos taken, some left for tomorrow at my mom's office. Lian won't come tomorrow, since my mom's clerk has something on.
Blizzard released the Warcraft III demo yesterday. The story: after an ominous warning from a mysterious prophet, Orc warchief Thrall must lead his warriors to a strange new land in this playable demo of Reign of Chaos.
Nothing much today. Lunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza, Fish Claypot Rice. Lian scolded me for eating burnt rice, but that's the best part. One product's price left, my mom missed; otherwise the second batch is done.
We've reached the year's last month; before you know it, 2003 arrives. Time flies, as they say, 'time and tide wait for no man'. Supper last night at Henderson Market 12.30am: Yong Tao Foo, 30-minute queue.
Switched the site to its red theme for Christmas; it's existed for ages, now set as default for the season, with snowflakes falling, though the JavaScript lags slightly. I'll change the top image to something festive.
Sorry for late post, busy all day. Played Warcraft III last night with Reaper and DeMoBLiTzer after two months off; rusty first round, but my skills returned the second and third. Followed my mom to office.
Lunch at Great World City with my mom, brother and Lian: teppanyaki, long since my last. M1 to buy Lian's Nokia 8250; my mom paid first as Lian hadn't brought money, my fault for not warning her.
Lunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza, since there's little to eat at my two downstairs coffeeshops. Vegetable rice, the priciest I've had: $5 for two meats and two veg, $4 for Lian's one meat and three veg.
Spent two hours this morning trying to install the USB 2 drivers, but no luck; every attempt threw 'Data Is Invalid', whether their driver or Microsoft's. I'll pass the PCI-to-USB card to my uncle tonight instead.
Took my phone to Nokia Care Centre at Cineleisure for repair, lunch at food court on the way. Told to collect it in two hours, thankfully no overnight stay. Did shopping at Takashimaya and Wisma Atria.
Famous Crayfish Ipoh Hor Fun at Hock Hai Market, delicious, and short queue when we arrived, long after we left. Out with Lian and our newest couple, Zhi Wei and Jean, for GhostShip at Bugis Junction.
Got my results fresh from SPEED, same as last semester, one distinction and the rest Bs. Not too bad. A distinction for Web Programming, with Bs in Entrepreneurship, Computer Animation, Design for User Interaction, and others.
Lunch at my downstairs coffeeshop with Lian: chicken shredded noodles. Came home to finish my mom's site, with five products missing item codes or prices to check. Saw my secondary school friends near Tiong Bahru Plaza.
Lunch at the Amara Hotel food court; the Thai and Korean food is delicious, though pricier than most food courts, probably the rent. I followed my mom to the bank and other places, getting home by 3.30pm.
Passed all my modules, one with a distinction, and Lian passed all hers too. The notice read: congratulations, promoted to the next stage of your course, with a distinction awarded for ST2201 Web Programming. A relief.
Kenny Rogers at Great World City for lunch, after fetching my brother from Tiong Bahru Plaza; he came back three-quarters dead from his chalet. Feeling a fever coming, restless, so I took two Panadol to sweat.
