Today marks my second year in national service; I've officially wasted two years, yay! Just one more month to clear leave and two more to ORD. On a brighter note, World Cup 2006 kicks off tonight.
On Sunday, we made a last-minute decision to catch a movie, choosing between The Benchwarmers and The Nun. We picked The Benchwarmers since we rarely watch horror. My expectations were low, but it turned out reasonably enjoyable.

I caught X-Men 3: The Last Stand on Saturday with Li Xiang, Laily and Suqin; luckily I booked early. The roughly two-hour film is meant to close the trilogy. I found X1 disappointing but X2 better.
I caught Over The Hedge at GV Jurong Point on Friday and rather liked it, one of the best cartoon films I've seen, better than Open Season in my view, though Li Xiang disagrees.
