Apex+ might be an unfamiliar brand to many. But you might have heard of the brand Ulti before. They are probably one of the top stores on Lazada and Shopee selling monitor arms, stands, and TV mounts. All my monitor arms and TV mounts are from Ulti.

So, Apex+ is a gaming peripheral brand by Ulti. Their first product is wireless gaming mice, and they have two: Apex+ Xtreme Wireless Gaming Mouse and Apex+ Evolution Wireless Gaming Mouse.

Shure Aonic 50 Gen 2 is the bigger brother of the Shure Aonic 40 and the successor to the Shure Aonic 50.

The number 50 in the product name means it uses 50mm dynamic drivers, which Shure custom-engineered.

Roborock Dyad is Roborock’s wet and dry vacuum cleaner series.

There are four models currently, the Roborock Dyad, Roborock Dyad Air, Roborock Dyad Pro, and Roborock Dyad Pro Combo.

Aqara Camera E1 is the latest security camera from Aqara that was launched early this month. It retails for S$99, and you can get it from Souky’s Shopee Store.

Aqara Camera E1 is essentially a strip-down version of the Aqara Camera Hub G3 and hence it is about S$100 cheaper. Aqara Camera Hub G3 retails for S$197.90.

I have been using Ariston water storage heaters since I was young. After having my own house, I continued using Ariston as I was familiar with the brand.

For my first house, I bought the Ariston Andris Lux. It was a “dumb” water storage heater, so I have to wire up the switch to be smart, so I can control it remotely.

Thanks to Souky, I managed to be one of the first customers in Singapore to install the Aqara D200i Smart Door Lock. Not to be confused with the D200, which is sold only in China, the D200i is the global/international version of the D200.

Besides being able to add to the Southeast Asia region in the Aqara app, The other significant difference is that the D200i supports remote unlocking.

Dreame has three different types of series for their cordless vacuum. V series, R series, and T series. I am confused as to what are the differentiating factors between the series. There are various models for different price ranges between the series, so I can’t consider one flagship over the other.

I guess Dreame took the best features of the V12 Pro (flagship of the V series) and T30 (flagship of the T series) and came out with the R20.

I have used multiple Google Nest Cam in my current house, which has served me well. The connection is stable. The only time it went down was when my Internet was down. I even subscribe to Nest Aware for ten days of 24/7 video recording. I have integrated my Nest Cams to Apple HomeKit using Homebridge with Homebridge Nest Cam Plugin. The integration works well as well.

For my new house, which I hope to move into in Q4 2023, I am seeing if I can integrate smart home devices directly into HomeKit without running Homebridge on my Synology NAS.
