This site turns five on 24th March 2007, which is also my birthday. For over four years I've run it on my allowance, with my mom occasionally paying for hosting. I'll never run ads despite my traffic.

Changing Of Host Completed
If you can see this announcement, the site has successfully moved to its new host, Dreamhost. I signed a two-year contract for US$100.80, so hopefully they don't let me down. Load time is noticeably slower for me now.
Site Moving To XHTML Transitional
I'm working on getting this site XHTML Transitional validated by the W3C, and so far so good: the blog main page and the comments page have both passed validation. More pages should follow soon as I clean up the markup.
PayPal Donation Link Fixed
Thanks to Ahmed Karam for pointing out that my PayPal donation link was outdated. I've fixed it and added a dedicated donation page under Others. If you're feeling generous today, maybe you could drop me a couple of bucks. Thanks!
Change Of Server
Frozened.com now has a server in the Pacific Internet data centre, and I've just moved my site there. Many thanks to Zeus for helping me migrate. A cPanel-to-DirectAdmin conversion error left only one database, luckily the right one.
GaMerZ File Explorer 1.10
I've released GaMerZ File Explorer 1.10. In case you don't know, it's a PHP script that lets you browse a directory much like Windows Explorer browses folders in Windows. Do check out the live demo to see it in action.
GaMerZ Expenses Tracking System
I'm launching a free service for everyone, the GaMerZ Expenses Tracking System. As the name implies, this online software lets you track your monthly expenses; just key them in and it does the rest, with daily, monthly and yearly views.
Site Updated To WordPress 1.5
As the title says, I've updated this site to WordPress 1.5, the smoothest upgrade I've ever been through, with no errors or major mishaps, just a few minor cosmetic bugs. Do report any errors you spot.
New Server
Since 1st August 2004, this site was down for migration to our new server, an Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz housed at the Pacific Internet data centre. I finally uploaded everything yesterday, so it should all be up and running now.

Site Updates January 2004
Pixel-Junkies' MySQL server suddenly threw errors today after running fine yesterday. Tracked it down to a DISTINCT keyword in the SQL query, and deleting it fixed things. Hopefully nothing breaks, since it makes no difference anyway.
lesterchan.net v2.0
A rundown of changes to my site: upgraded from b2 0.6.1 to WordPress 1.0.1, a tableless layout, pages now 99.9% HTML 4.01 Transitional, polls and the shoutbox temporarily removed, and site.php retired except for the sitemap.
3 New Photo Albums In Gallery
Uploaded three new albums to the Gallery: Hang Wei's BBQ June 2003, Esplanade, and Jacky's BBQ September 2003. All the shots I took yesterday sit under the Jacky's BBQ album, 69 photos. Take a look.
Pixel Junkies
Long overdue for a site update, though there's little to report. Orientek is now Pixel Junkies; the old domain got cybersquatted, and cybersquatters suck. We've bought the direct URL, so please use that one going forward.
Mind Slightly Clear
FYP discussion at school; I mostly listened and helped. Lunch at foodcourt 6 with Lian and a group member, though I watched them eat. Caught Basic with Jacky's group at Tiong Bahru, a messy film like Hero.

It's been a while since a site update. I've refreshed the DMMT module to reflect my third year in poly, and added a new poll, 'How Fast Is Your Internet Connection?', so cast your vote now.

The site's back up on a temporary URL until I buy www.orientek.net. Only polls down; too lazy to edit files, so I'll pull them until I code my own poll script. Email me about broken links.
Orientek.Net Domain Expired
The www.orientek.net domain expired today, too late to renew now. I'll wait for it to be released before buying back. I hadn't realised it would lapse so soon; time flies. Waiting is all I can do.
Site Updates January 2003
Here are the site updates I've consolidated over the past months: added a Related Stories feature, used site.php for content, replaced the previous/next links with vBulletin-style page navigation, and simplified the Archives page into something cleaner.
Orientek Back Up
If you're reading this, the Orientek server on games.pacific.net.sg is back up; PHP, MySQL and Apache upgraded at last. I'd waited ages: PHP 4.3.0, MySQL 3.23.54 and Apache 1.3.27. Finally something for me to tinker with.
