It has been 1 year since I started working at mig33 (this is my first job)! Till date, I am still learning lots of new stuff everyday at work!

We do not just do coding, but also reading up on new technology trends and how we can deploy them to production so that they bring benefits to the company. For the past year, I learn stuff like Hadoop, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ and on top of that scaling the LAMP stack and making them as efficient as possible is what we do as well.

The Social Network (IMDB) (Wiki) is essentially a movie about how Facebook got started by Mark Zuckerberg in his Harvard Dormitory room.

I doubt some parts of the story is true like Mark owned 51% of Facebook but actually he owns 24% of it. But perhaps things change over the years.

In May 2010, Facebook launches Fast and Free Facebook Mobile Access with 0.facebook.com by partnering mobile operators. Singapore was not on the list back then.

Today, SingTel has announced partnership with Facebook to provide free access to 0.facebook.com on your mobile phone.

The Mood Diary is a Facebook application developed by my friend, Hong Jun and his team for their CS3216 final project.

I also did 3 Facebook Applications when I took CS3216 2 years back. Time flies man

Dont you just love how Facebook has an application for everything possible? Dont you just love wading through your friends Facebook profiles with the simple goal of finding their Wall? Dont you just love how Facebook is looking more and more like MySpace every single day? Fear no more, the Facebook Platform Team has a plan to unclutter profiles: a œprofile clean-up tool. Essentially, the tool will give users the option to move extra profile boxes to an œextended portion of their profile. At the bottom of the profile page there will be a link to œShow Extended Profile which expands the profile for viewing all of the users applications. This should mean a cleaner look, and faster loading pages. Personally, I would much prefer a œhide all 3rd party crap feature, but this move seems to be a step in the right direction.
