Land Of The Dead
Caught Land Of The Dead 2 weeks ago at GV Grand. Quite a good show, I think is better than Dawn Of The Dead and Resident Evil 2. I love Zombies and War movies but it seems to me that there are no upcoming movies of that genre. Resident Evil the movie will have another 2 more installations. The 3rd movie is called Resident Evil: After Life which will come only in 2006.
Army Stuffs
My section mate/batch boy got his last finger cut seriously when we are removing the flag poles for Guard Of honor. Imagine how heavy a flag pole is and the flag pole that cut his finger was the state flag pole meaning it is the biggest and heaviest among all. It is so serious that he has a 2 months MC, and need to go minor operation and when that finger is fully recovered, he cannot bend his last finger fully. He is aiming for downgrading, which I think he should.
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
Caught this movie at Cineleisure, been some time since I watched movie at Cineleisure. Movie was quite good, short, sweet and pretty straightforward. If you read the book, then I would recommend you to watch this movie. Ate Subway for lunch, now I am kinda addicted to Subway. 1 foot long oven baked turkey breast with extra cheese and extra ham filled with tomatoes, onions and lettuces, top with sweet onion sauce together with the soup of the day and a medium drink. $15.60 for 2 persons meal.
Mos Burger has a new soup, clam chowder. Don’t taste that good if you ask me. Still prefer the corn soup.

Caught The Island last Sunday at GV Grand. It is a good show and the scenes is set in the future and all those gadgets they have are way cool, especially the table size tablet pc. I am going to get that when it is available next time. The story is about human cloning and I believe what is shown in the movie may just happen in the future. Imagine one day you open the door and you saw a person who looks exactly like you standing outside. Freaky isn’t it?
Caught Stealth yesterday at GV Marina. It was a 2 hour non-stop action pack show, the director Rob Cohen who directed Fast and Furious and xXx never fails to keep us locked in our seat and eyes glued on the big screen. I read 8 days saying that 1 of the explosion scene in the movie was so big that it could be seen from space and they have to register it with NASA, I am still figuring out which scene is it. Anyway, I think the possibility for a fighter jet to pilot itself in the future is very high especially UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is quite popular now. As what the actor said, I think next time war will be like playing computer games just like playing Command and Conquer. There will not be a stealth 2 directed by Rob Cohen, because he do not believe in sequel. That is why he did not direct 2 Fast 2 Furious and xXx2 .
The next version of Windows will be named Windows Vista, whose previous codename is called Windows Longhorn.
Personal preference I still prefer the name XP than Vista. I think in 2006 we will see a series of software that ends with Vista. For example Office Vista.
War Of The World
Caught War Of the World last week at GV Plaza, show is around 150 minutes. The starting of the show was ok, but the ending kinda sucks. The show is very similar to Half-Life 2 storyline. 3 legged machines destroying through cities. But thumbs up for the creativity. Independence Day was much better if you are wondering.
Suppose to have dinner at the Pasta Bar at Ngee Ang City, but it has closed for renovation and due to open in August 2005. They didn’t even put a sign telling that they are going to renovate. At first I thought it just disappeared, but after asking the food outlet opposite it selling Japanese Curry Rice, they told me that there are renovating.
Batman Begins
Caught Batman Begins last week at GV Plaza. Movie lasted about 150 minutes. It was good, among all the Batman movies, this is the best. It is confirmed that there will be a sequel for it and the sequel will introduce The Joker.
Kuishin â⬊Bo
Celebrated our 8th month of being together and LiXiang pay raise we went to Kuishin â⬊Bo at Suntec City Level 3 for a buffet lunch. The last time I went there was a few years back and the food is expensive and they do not have buffet. This time, the moment I step in, I was like “WOW” the spread is fantastic. It has over 100 selections of food of sushi, sashimi, seafood, teppanyaki, tempura, kaminabe, ramen, udon, curry rice, paper steamboat, salad, drinks, ice cream and much more. It was good, so far the best buffet I have eaten, in my opinion it is better than Shima/Shima Aji. I think from now on, I will pay additional money to have this then to have Sakae Sushi Buffet.
Watch Mr & Mrs Smith at GV Jurong Point. Show lasted for around 2 hours. It was funny, worth the watch but as to all action movies the stars always get away unhurt from bullet shots flying around them and when they fire 1 shot and the enemy is dead. My favourite phrase in the movie got to be “Honey, your aiming is as bas as your cooking”. ROFL
Mos burger came out with a new burger something like the Rice Burger, just that they replace the rice with vegetable (lettuce). Available in 3 favours (Teriyaki Chicken, Fish and Beef). No idea what they call it in English, but I call it Vegetable Burger.
Finally bought a notebook from the PC Show 2005. I was the first customer to buy a Fujitsu notebook. The model is S6240, priced at $3488. Free gifts include additional 512MB DDR2 ram, bluetooth USB adapter, USB handphone charger, optical mouse and a MP3 player car adapter.
Caught Madagascar at GV Grand on Saturday afternoon. Was quite an unlucky day for a movie because the GV ticketing system was down and they can’t check what seat we are located. They ask us to use the AXS station to print the tickets, but LiXiang is using UOB Mini Debit Card and the card is too small to fit into the card reader of the AXS station. Luckily LiXiang is smart and she remembered the seats number which normally I can’t be bother to remember at all if I am the one booking the tickets. We wrote our details down on a piece of paper and we went in. It was chaos on that day, the whole place is so crowded.
Madagascar was not bad, but it was pretty short. I still prefer Robots though. I like the part best when the head of the squirrel (I think) was dancing to the song “I like to move it move it”.
