Happy 4th July to all Americans, its Independence Day for them.

Just came home from school, had a very “breakful” day today, altogether 4h30mins of break. Last year, when I took OOPG(Object Oriented Programming), we used codes to design user GUI, but now lecturer taught us a much faster way, all you need is just to click, same as how you design a webpage on Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Need to create a “simple” animation using Jbuilder and pass up tomorrow. Looks tough, but I try to, if I have the time, I will try out tomorrow CANI practical work.

School ended at 11.30am for me today, reached home at about 12.30pm, was very tired because I slept at 2am and wake up at 8am. Haha.

Did some body modelling on my first Computer Animation (CANI) practical, and I can say it looks good except it looks more cartoon than human, anyway the lecturer said that if it is too realistic and it doesn’t animate as realistic as a human, you failed. If it is cartoon, its mean to be funny so your imagination is your only limitation, much easier to animate.

Just came back from Funan, got my copy of Warcraft 3, I thought there will not be so much people there as later on students need to go to school. To my surprise there are ALOT of people queueing already. There are 4 shops selling Warcraft 3, 1000 copies are available to a shop for today only, more stocks will be coming later in the afternoon. You need to register at the counter to get a sticker, there is no limit to how many stickers a person can take. Each sticker is enittled to only 1 game.

Lucky for me, I got the Human box, those who get the Orcs box not really lucky from my POV, as the Orcs box is the default design for Warcraft 3 box. Channel News Asia team was there also, interviewing people and fliming the scene, 2 or 3 of the people which was interviewed was very closed to me, lucky I was not interviewed. Hehe 🙂

I have update this site blog software to b2 0.6pre3, I found some bugs fixed them, but the last bug which is in b2archives2.php(I rename the default archive file to b2archives2.php), seems abit wierd. Anyway now you are able to post smilies in the comments section =)

Posting this crap in school, first pratical of the semester and the lecturer is late suppose to start at 10am and now is 10.30am and the lecturer is no where to be seen. Just resetted my login password, only some of us cannot login including me, and we need to reset it, weird. IWED module now, learning Macromedia FireWorks for the first few lessons, ok got to go, lecturer finally here.

Just came back from school, had many breaks in between due to first week of the semester there will be no tutorials. Knew 4 modules lecturers out of 7 modules, but the end of this week, I will know them all.

There is no escape from JAVA, in the first semester of year 1, I took a module something to do with JAVA, and this semester of year 2 I am also taking a module which has something to do with JAVA, need to do some revision for myself, as the lecturer said that this module is 10x more difficult then the previous module. Downloading JBuilder 7 (Personal) from Bordland now.

Went to Civic Plaza to catch the World Cup match, I must that it is very fun, there are about 7500 people there, with host from the perfect 10 like Daniel Ong, Jean Danker entertaining us. So in the end my guess is correct Brazil is the world champion, beating Germany 2-0 thanks to the 2 goals scored by Ronaldo, in total he scored 8 goals for this year World Cup making him winning the Golden Boots Award. See you in Germany in 2006 School starts tomorrow, boring…..

Today marks the end of World Cup 2002, for the pass 30 days, we had great fun, happiness and also disappointments. The final match between Germany and Brazil will start at 7pm and the closing ceremony will be about 9pm. So who will emerge as world champion for this year? My bet will be on Brazil, but Germany also have high chances of winning the world cup.

20:55 Slept for almost the whole day. Very tired. Today’s match started at 7pm, sorry for posting the wrong infomation. Turkey won Korea 3-2, with Hakan Sukur scoring the fastest goal for world cup ,11 seconds. After the match, the Koreans audienc were very sporting, they displayed the Turkey national flag. That is what you called FIFA fair play. Anyway this match is quite interesting although I didn’t really catch the full match. Tomorrow will be the last match of this world cup, Germany vs Brazil.

1:17 Been busy for the whole day, didn’t have time to update this blog yesterday, watched Bad Company, surprising the show is nice. Orientek is almost complete. I accidentally overwrite the server b2comments.php with b2comments.php on my HDD, and I realised that it is a different file, crap, waste my 15 minutes to configure back the file. Anyway, we are approaching the end of FIFA World Cup 2002. The next FIFA world cup will be in Germany in 2006.

Slept at 5am this morning, was talking to my secondary school classmate that went to LA to further his studies. Heard from him that there is a restraunt called Singapore Express in LA which sells only Sinapore food like laksa, nasi lemak, etc, even Singapore Airlines in LA ordered the food from them. He will be coming back this December, can’t wait to see him. Haven’t seen him in years.

Nominees for Adidas Golden Ball has been announced, the nominees are M. Ballack(GER), Roberto Carlos(BRA), Rivaldo(BRA), Ronaldo(BRA), Ronaldinho(BRA), el Hadji Diouf(SEN), Fernando Hierro(ESP), Hong Myung Bo(KOR), Oliver Kahn(GER), Hasan Sas(TUR). Brazil got 3 players nominated. Yay.
