Anker product names can be confusing at times, as there are many series of USB-C to USB-C cables.

Some examples:

The product name is quite a mouthful: Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. As the name suggests, it is a 40W charger that can deliver a peak of 60W for a short period of time.

Anker 140W Charger is a 4-Port charger that is capable of a maximum output of 140W.

I bought it on Shopee during 10/10 sale for S$60.27. The usual retail price is about S$85.90.

The Ugreen USB-C To USB-C 100W Retractable Cable retails for around $15 on Lazada and Shopee. During a double-digit sales day, it can drop to about S$9. I got mine during 7/7 for S$8.69.

My use case for this retractable cable is for travelling. Currently, I will bring a short 15cm USB-C to USB-C cable to use with my powerbank (like the Belkin BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10K), as sometimes I need to charge my iPhone quickly. It is faster to do it via USB-C instead of wirelessly via MagSafe.

Tesla Model 3 Highland has a wireless charging pad that allows you to charge two Qi devices simultaneously up to 15W. I felt my phone produces more heat when charging this way than when charging via MagSafe. Also, 15W wireless charging is slow, considering most of my drives within Singapore are a maximum of 30 minutes.

There is another USB-C port in the Tesla Model 3 Highland located in the center console’s rear compartment, which is accessible to both the driver and the front passenger. The other two USB-C ports are meant for the backseat passengers. In total, the Tesla Model 3 Highland has three USB-C ports that can output a maximum of 65W.

I think Belkin has gotten lots of feedback about this and has launched another version with interchangeable tips included. I don’t know why Belklin called it tips instead of plugs, but I shall refer it to tips for consistency. They mean the same thing.
