Lian came at 11am, lunch at Great World City foodcourt; she had laksa while I had fried beef with spring onion, ginger and rice, less oily than last time. Home by 2pm for Unreal Tournament 2003.
Lor mee in the morning before a few Warcraft III games with Lian, though my cable kept disconnecting every 30 minutes, worse since StarHub took over. My BTT evaluation: took it three times and failed all.
Forgot the IGRA revision lecture until a classmate mentioned it on IRC, so I turned up at 11am. The lecturer claimed attendees might earn extra marks, not sure how true, but fewer than a quarter showed.
Woke at 9am to the doorbell: the postman delivering Lian's Koichi Domoto 2003-2004 calendar. I like online shopping: straight to your doorstep, and fast too. Released on 28 February, and I had it by 3 March.
Woke at 11.30am, then to Suntec for lunch and to buy chicken wings for Thursday's class BBQ: 48 wings and 42 chicken breasts. We went to Suntec by mistake, since my brother wanted to make spectacles.
Minced pork noodles at Bestway building, months since I ate there. After we sent my uncle to the airport, she dropped me at Eunos MRT. Took bus 51 to Lian's stop, Mos Burger at Marina Square.
Lian's MMAD Task 2 presentation smooth as silk. I submitted MMAD Tasks 3, 4 and 5 despite bits missing, too lazy to redo for few marks. Lunch at SP's renovated foodcourt 3, the nasi padang decent.
My self-coded poll module is live after weeks of planning and coding. The first topic is 'What Type Of Food Do You Like?'; cast your vote. If you spot bugs, please email me with a screenshot.
Had my TBCM presentation before lunch, scoring 60.5/80, fumbled one slide, rambling without knowing what I said. After lunch, the 90-minute VBAS mock test: coded it in 30 minutes but spent an hour on coin-change logic.
Today marks six months together for Lian and me, and I'll be 19 in 26 days. Left school around 1.30pm for Pasta Mania at Scotts foodcourt. The Ham and Mushroom Pizza beats Pizza Hut's, though not Marche's.
School ended at 12pm. A last-minute recruit brought our FYP group to seven. Wandered Plaza Singapura and had Mos Burger for lunch-cum-dinner; the rice burger tasted off, with limp vegetables and soggy rice. Not their best.
Finalised my FYP group: six members, doing Web Programming and Publishing. There's been miscommunication these past days between me, Charlene, Stacey and Jean, still unresolved. All I can do is try to help smooth things over.
Mom woke me at 12.30pm for lunch at Nudle Bar in Heeren, to celebrate grandmother's lottery win. Had Stir-Fried Salmon with Szechuan, not bad, though I prefer Black Pepper Beef Ramen. Bought a Tokyo Life Fourskin tee.
School for the IGRA practical make-up. Lecturer was early, but only 12 of 30 turned up. The practical was challenging; satisfaction when your program displays the image. Lian was in school too, watching The Hot Chick.
Got the FYP group form during my MMAD lecture, a surprise, and sudden, since we haven't finished Year 2 and already must decide our Year 3 project. The deadline to form a group is 14 March.
Had my VBAS practical, one of the toughest yet, taking an hour on a question, though the rest were easy. After school, light meal at Funan's McDonald's, Nasi Lemak again, even if I don't love it.
PCT make-up practical today: partitioned the HDD with Partition Magic 7.0, installed Win9x, WinNT and Win2K, and a multi-OS boot. Easy, done countless times. After school, Lian was hungry, so a light meal at Funan's McDonald's.
School ended at 11am, to Marina Square for Catch Me If You Can at 1.20pm. Wanted minced pork noodles, but the queue was long, so Mos Burger: Ebi Rice Burger decent, love their Ice Milk Tea.
Lessons from 9am, first up IGRA practical, but the teacher didn't show again, wasting my time when I could've slept till 10. School ended at 2pm, though I stayed back for a last-minute TBCM group meeting.
Lunch at The Nudle Bar in Heeren again; the Yaki Ramen was good. Didn't realise there's a CitiBank promotion until my mom asked: order three mains and get two free sides, each worth $6 to $8.
Last day of Chinese New Year, 15th of the lunar month, also Chinese Valentine's Day, per my dad; no idea until my parents mentioned it. Makeup lessons at 9.30am, but the lecturer came late and cancelled.
Valentine's Day, school ending 1pm self-declared. My memory's terrible: first I forgot I'd ordered a Valentine's gift from my friend's club to collect today, thanks to Klaus for the reminder. Then I forgot my Sakae Sushi voucher.
