When I first saw the Innergie Magic Cable – 3-in-1 Retractable USB Cable (Amazon.com link), it was at Challenger in VivoCity last year, but when I wanted to get it, it was out of stock and hence I settled for the 3-in-1 Retractable Charging Cable from Deal Extreme.
During my vacation in Thailand, I spotted it again in Power Buy, a shop located in CentralPlaza Bangna shopping center. It cost TH฿390 (S$16) and of course, it goes without saying, I bought it. In fact, it is the only thing that I bought in Thailand during my 4 days vacation over there.

I have problems finding MHL cables in Singapore for my Galaxy Nexus. MHL stands for Mobile High-Definition Link and here is the definition from Wikipedia:
Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is a proposed industry standard for a mobile audio/video interface for directly connecting mobile phones and other portable consumer electronics (CE) devices to high-definition televisions (HDTVs) and displays. The MHL standard features a single cable with a low pin-count interface able to support up to 1080p high-definition (HD) video and digital audio while simultaneously charging the connected device.
Placed my order for the Multifunction 3-in-1 Retractable Charging Adapter – Black from Deal Extreme on the 4th February 2012 and it arrived in my mailbox on the 5th March 2012, it took exactly a month for it to reach my home. Paid US$5 for it and with Deal Extreme, shipping is always free.
This 3-in-1 Retractable Charging Cable is similar to the Innergie Magic Cable â Multi-Tip USB Cable which I bought last month but it cost 50% lesser and it has support for Apple’s 30-pin connector.
It is essentially a Micro USB cable that have magnets on both end of the tip that attracts to each other to form a loop shape. You can wear it on your wrist or loop it around your bag’s strap. You can even place it on your computer tower or even on your fridge holding up name cards or to-do lists. I would consider the magnet within the cable to be slightly stronger than your average fridge magnets.

I got the Innergie Magic Cable Trio instead since it has 3 tips (Mini USB, Micro USB & Apple 30-pin connector) whereas the Innergie Magic Cable Duo has only 2 tips (Micro USB & Apple 30-pin connector).
Bought the Innergie Magic Cable – Multi-Tip USB Cable from Plaza Singapura’s Challenger for S$13 (after 10% member’s discount is S$11.70). I always wanted to try out Innergie’s product, because it is always very well designed though it is on the pricey side.
Bluelounge Sumo is a cable holder/anchor which prevents cable from falling back to the floor when placed near the edge of the table. The concept is similar to Heckler Design OneLessDrop.
I am using it to anchor my LAN cable that I placed on my desk. The Bluelounge Sumo cost US$11.95 (S$15.13).
The Apple iPhone Micro USB Adapter is currently only being sold in the UK Apple Stores (both online and retail) for £8.00 (S$16.23).
I bought it from the Apple Store at Regent Street when I was there in London for Nokia World 2011. I think it is a good gift to give to people who are Apple fans because you can’t get it anywhere else in the world!
I backed Heckler Design OneLessDrop (Kickstarter link) on Kickstarter way back on 4th February 2011. It was funded on 2nd March 2011 and raised a total of US$22,271, though the goal was only US$12,500.
I paid US$25 + US$10 shipping (total: US$35) for it. It was shipped on the week of 5th September 2011 and I received it on the 27th September 2011.
If you just ship the Extra Connectors to Singapore, it cost US$2.53 (~S$3.07) for USPS (First Class Mail International Parcels). Since I am already buying the Bluelounge MiniDock, I just need to top up US$1 more for the shipping cost.
