I bought the Anker PowerLine+ Lightning Cable (0.9m) from Amazon for US$13.99 (S$19).
It doesn’t ship to Singapore directly, and hence I have to ship it to my freight forwarder, HopShopGo, and get them to shop to Singapore for me.

Last month, GP Batteries expanded its PowerBanks and Smart On-The-Go accessories lineup to include USB Car Chargers, USB Wall Chargers, Charge & Sync USB Cables, F-Series PowerBank and Smiley Special Edition PowerBank.
USB Car Chargers
There are three models of USB Car Chargers from GP. Single USB 2.4A (S$22.90), Dual USB 4.8A (S$37.90) and Triple USB 6.3A (S$49.90). Each model comes in two colors, white and black.
I backed the Dash microSD and SD Card Reader on Kickstarter on 16th November 2015. The project was funded on 1st December 2015 after raising a total of US$11,492 out of their initial goal of US$10,000 from 717 backers.
I chose the US$22 reward level and shipping to Singapore cost another US$3 (despite it stating US$2). So in total, I paid US$25 (S$36).
The Bluelounge Soba is a cable routing kit. It consolidates multiple cables into a single tube so that your cables will look neater.
I bought mine from Paragon Department store located inside Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand, for TH฿890 (S$36).
The Bluelounge Pixi is a multi-purpose tie that comes in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large.
For each size, there are two different length of cables included and the quantity of cables also differs.
The Google USB Type-C to USB Standard-A Plug Cable has been out of stock for quite some time. I managed to buy it when it just got back in stock on 9th November 2015. Because it doesn’t ship to Singapore directly, I have to ship it through a freight forwarder like HopShopGo.
The retail price is US$12.99 (S$19) excluding shipping fees from HopShopGo and comes in only one length which is 1m. It is a USB 2.0 cable and hence the data transfer speed will be capped at 480Mb/s.
The iOrange-E USB Type-C Cable is one of the recommended USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable by Benson Leung.
The cables are available in three colors (Gold, Silver, Black) and each of the colors are available in 3 lengths (0.5m, 2m or 3m). You can get all 9 variants from Amazon.
The Apple USB Type-C Cable is retailing for S$42 and comes in only one length which is 2m. I wish they have it in 0.5m and 1m as well.
There are no markings on the USB ends on the cable because there is no need to since it has a reversible plug orientation. This is similar to the Apple Lighting cable as there is no marking on the Lightning end of that cable as well.
The OnePlus Type-C Cable 150cm + OnePlus USB Type-C Adapter is retailing for S$23 on Lazada. It is sort of a promotion bundle. Delivery is an additional S$0.50.
The OnePlus Type-C Cable 150cm alone cost S$17 while the OnePlus USB Type-C Adapter cost S$14.
If you are thinking of getting a USB Type-C cable from Amazon, be sure to read Benson Leung’s review on Amazon first.
Benson works in Google and his team at Google has been very big proponents and innovators of USB Type-C. He has worked on two Pixel products that use the connector and its related technologies (Power Delivery, Alternate Mode, USB 3.1).
