8 Plugins Updated

I have updated 8 of my 11 plugins. The most important bug I fixed is the AJAX URL bug. The rest are some minor enhancements and bug fixes. wp-stats.php, wp-polls.php and wp-useronline.php are now integrated into WordPress Pages. You do not need to manually integrate it. You will still need to manually integrate wp-email.php, I am still finding a way around it.

I have started school after 2 years of National Service and I am very busy with my school work (university school work is hell). I will try my very best to give support to my plugins alongside with bug fixes.

Thanks for all the support =)

WordPress 3.2 RC1

WordPress 3.2 RC1 has been released!

The first release candidate (RC1) for WordPress 3.2 is now available.

An RC comes after the beta period and before final release. We think we’re done, but with tens of millions of users, a variety of configurations, and thousands of plugins, it’s possible we’ve missed something. So if you haven’t tested WordPress 3.2 yet, now is the time! Please though, not on your live site unless you’re extra adventurous.

Things to keep in mind:

  • With more than 350 tickets closed, there are plenty of changes. Plugin and theme authors, please test your plugins and themes now, so that if there is a compatibility issue, we can figure it out before the final release.
  • Users are also encouraged to test things out. If you find problems, let your plugin/theme authors know so they can figure out the cause.
  • Twenty Eleven isn’t quite at the release candidate stage. Contents may settle.
  • If any known issues crop up, you’ll be able to find them here.

If you are testing the release candidate and think you’ve found a bug, there are a few ways to let us know:

To test WordPress 3.2, try the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (you’ll want “bleeding edge nightlies”). Or you can download the release candidate here (zip).

Happy testing!

If you’d like to know which levers to pull in your testing, check out a list of features in our Beta 1 post.

WordPress 3.0.3

WordPress 3.0.3 has been released and it is yet another security update.

This release fixes issues in the remote publishing interface, which under certain circumstances allowed Author- and Contributor-level users to improperly edit, publish, or delete posts.

These issues only affect sites that have remote publishing enabled.

Remote publishing is disabled by default, but you may have enabled it to use a remote publishing client such as one of the WordPress mobile apps. You can check these settings on the “Settings > Writing” screen.

Plugins Repo Moved To Github

I have moved the remaining WordPress plugins repository to Github and thanks to scribu’s script, I can deploy from Github back to WordPress Plugins SVN Repo.

Also thanks to scribu for taking the lead with WP-PageNavi and WP-UserOnline previously =)

Feel free to submit pull requests or fork the repo or follow me on GitHub.

Here are all the links.
