I have finally upgraded to a Sonos 5.1 surround sound system consisting of Sonos Beam, Sonos Sub (Gen 3) and two Sonos PLAY:1.

After setting it up, I am wondering whether my Sonos 5.1 is working correctly.

Bought the Sonos One SL on Amazon during their Amazon Prime Day sale for S$259. The original retail price is S$299, but during Amazon Prime Day, only the Sonos One SL (Black) dropped to S$279. You can get an additional S$20 off using the promo code PRIMEDAYAPP with a minimum spend of S$60. And that is how I ended up with S$259.

The packaging on Sonos One SL felt cheap as compared to Sonos One.

Bought the Logitech C920 Pro HD Webcam during Lazada’s Online Tech Show for S$108.05. The usual retail price is S$149. During the flash sale, it was discounted to S$119. After deducting Lazada’s voucher of S$5 and the shop’s voucher of 5% off (S$5.95), I ended up with S$108.05.

The upgraded model to this is the Logitech C922 Pro Stream 1080p Webcam which was released back in 2016. Logitech C922 retails for S$199 on Lazada while on Hachi.tech, it retails for S$159 as they are having a promotion.

Lululook Magnetic iPad Stand is an iPad stand that makes use of the iPad’s internal magnets for mounting. Hence, it is not compatible with every iPad.

It is compatible with all iPad Pro 11″. For iPad Pro 12.9″, it is only compatible from the 3rd generation (2018) onwards. Both variants of the stand retail for US$54.99 (S$73).

After getting my Sonos Beam last month, the next logical thing to get is the Sonos Sub.

Sonos Sub is in its third generation now. It was refreshed back in May 2020.

I chanced upon Amazon.sg yesterday and saw that Amazon have Amazon Echo (4th Generation) and Amazon Echo Dot (4th Generation) available internationally.

These are the international version, so that they will come with the correct adapter plug. Also, note that some Alexa Skills may not be available for all countries.

Apple announced a refreshed Apple TV 4K during their 21st April 2021 event. The name remains the same, and it is still being called Apple TV 4K. Apple is calling it the Apple TV 4K (2nd Generation).

Apple TV has one of the longest product cycles, so it is worth getting during launch. The previous Apple TV 4K was launched in September 2017.
